These lights are easy to install, very bright and it has a very good color spectrum. The remote signal isnt very strong and you actually have to open the battery comparment where the end of line controller is and point the remote directly at it within a few feet to turn on and off or to change the colors. Install these up underneath the deck. Before putting it in the water, everything worked perfectly. All connectors were good and tight rubber O-rings in place all wiring secured. Less than a week later I have all kinds of flickering and the lights don’t work. It’s not my wiring, both sides flash, the same and come on but very faintly. None of the functions work either. Installed the lights , really easy & simple !! Planned on going out at night this weekend but the led soder done corroded & broke so only a 1/4 of the lights work on one side !!!! I haven’t even got to go out on the water yet !!

I like how bright they are but I do not like the backing tape on the lights... I put them on my boat and as soon as I finished there was spots were the lights were coming off already and yes the surface was prepped and cleaned before install.. also the anchors were nice but the heads on the screw broke off 3 of them with little to no force wich left me having to remove them from out of the fiberglass on my boat... I would not recommend these lights until the adhesive tape is changed to 3m the crap that comes on these is no good.. also the remote has to be close to control the lights maybe 3-4ft max in distance ..update went out once with the boat and one side of the lights only like 12 of the let's light up... looks like the solder joints is broke push pressure on it and it lights up so would not recommend had high hopes for these lights and no good ... show more

Doesn’t stick as promised. We improvised to get it to adhere to the boat. And it severed after just a couple uses. ExpectingEd t to be appropriate for a boat but found it isn’t really. We made it work but durability was less than anticipated.
