    • If there’s a damaged piece straight outta the box TOO BAD!

Yep!! Straight outta the box there was a damaged piece…The left side panel of the drawer box had/HAS a huge gash in it! I contacted Amazon as soon as I found this ( I took every piece out of the box, being careful to lay each piece in numerical/alphabetical order as everything was labeled thusly) and this took about 45 minutes to do because of all the styrofoam packing so no way in the universe would I have attempted to REPACK the entire desk to return it! NO! I thought that it would be just a matter of a quick call (online chat) explaining the problem and I would be told that there would be a replacement piece sent out (after all each piece WAS identified right?) and that I would just wait to assemble the desk when the undamaged piece arrived. BUT NO! I was told I would have to return the whole dang thing (we’re talking at least 75 pounds of laminated wood and metal pieces in a long flat box PLUS the fact that we drive SUVs, not trucks!) by hauling it to the nearest UPS terminal which is 30 minutes away from me??!! HECK NO!! So I had to get creative…went out and bought a roll of contact paper to match as close as possible, slapped some over the big ugly gash in that drawer panel and assembled the desk. Took me about 4 hours to do (I’m a 70 years young small female) but it was for my grandson’s room so I was determined to finish in one day. Once assembled and functional, it is a nice looking desk, seems sturdy enough, the shelf for the monitors holds his two 27” monitors with room to spare for the two external speakers. The desk top is very roomy as well. He uses it for his keyboard and microphone and displays several Funko Pops (he likes the LED lights that attach underneath the monitor shelf and the way they shine down on the FPs) and two mice and STILL has room for his yeti cup and phone WHICH, btw, he charges via the power strip that installs easily into the desktop and has 3 USB and 3 regular plug in outlets…there is a pull out keyboard tray that he uses to draw/write/snack on. His gaming tower fits perfectly in the space designated for one BUT you must install the top shelf in the uppermost holes in the frame/legs to accommodate a tall tower. The two drawers open and close easily and are handy. I have cautioned my grandson to not leave spills of any kind for very long as laminated wood would most likely buckle up and peel. I hope this will give potential buyers an idea of what to expect from this desk. My grandson loves it! UPDATE! I was contacted by Rolanstar Direct via email and offered a FULL REFUND!! I got nowhere with Amazon about the damaged piece and they did not advise me to contact Rolanstar else I would have KNOWN that they stand behind their products and guarantee satisfaction! I will definitely buy other products made by Rolanstar but next time I will order straight from their website! In fact, I was just looking on their website for a matching shelf unit to display things on and am very impressed by their inventory and prices etc. So nice to know I have options! ... show more

I searched for months trying to find a desk that had a keyboard drawer, side drawers and shelves, but didn't take up my whole craft room. This desk came with everything you need to put it together (including wood glue for added support!) tools and a whole package of extra pieces. It is extremely sturdy and while it is long, the depth is perfect. I have my laptop, 2 monitors, a sound bar, a mixer, a mic with boom arm, a tablet w/ keyboard, a printer, and my keyboard and mouse, and everything fits perfectly with plenty of room for me to add things on the desk. I did add an laptop/monitor arm to the raised shelf to move the laptop over so I could use it as a 3rd monitor but the arm fit perfectly on the shelf. Lots of storage space in the drawers. The additional plugs are a lifesaver. The lighting is very customizable and the app is easy to use. I highly recommend!!! ... show more

This is absolutely the best packed/marked/built piece of furniture of this type that I‘ve ever purchased. I’m not exaggerating when I say that it was a pleasure to assemble. There are a ton of pieces, but they were very well marked and laid out. My 16 year old daughter put it together and I assisted with holding things up while she tightened screws etc. I was with her the whole time and actually wanted to do it myself because the instructions were so clear, not a poorly written translation. There were extras of every screw/bolt/wooden peg etc. I was very pleasantly surprised. This company put in some serious effort in the design and construction of this product. All of the pieces fit together perfectly. My son loves it! The lights are soooo cool and the built in power bar with charge ports is such a good idea. File cabinet/snack drawer is great and the hardware is very good quality. I’d rate this 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend. . ... show more

There are labels for each item on them, and each screw type, etc is in its own pack and labeled. I was able to put this together by myself. The only thing I do not like about it is minor, the keyboard pull out is too easy to slide back in on one side. Not a big enough problem to worry too much about.
