Looking for a frame to match light colored flooring, and this was perfect. Although there are lots of pieces, the directions were clear and easy to follow. Note where it says to leave bolts untightened until the sequence of steps is complete - parts needs to jiggle and flex into place and then tightened. A couple Allen wrench drill bit investments made it even faster, but the little hand wrenches are included and work fine. It's only 70 pounds and a small profile (not bulky). I like the light strip and USB port on the top shelf. It's sturdy. We used it to make two twin mattresses into a king using an extra clamp kit to keep things in place side-to-side. Just as in the description! I love it! The photo does no justice. Looks Amazing in person. If you keep looking at this bed BUY. Great for the Buck! Easy to assemble. Great for the price. Don’t expect it to be Ashley’s furniture, Rooms 2 Go furniture quality etc. It’s a nice bed that gets the job done when you’re on a budget! I went from an expensive batman bed to this and I’m happy! So far had this bed frame for over 6 months. Here is a review. +Pros Easy assembly Lights very pretty and still lasting today after (almost) daily use. Holds up my mattress, myself, my cats, and gf without any hassle or un-sturdyness USB's still alive and kicking, able to charge my phone, switch, and whatever else over night. -Cons Can be a bit slippery with the mattress. not really a big deal tbh The assembly can be time consuming. Ordered this bed for our teen son for Christmas as a new bed was his #1 wish item. I read the reviews before purchase and was a bit nervous because some of the reviews said not all pieces were delivered with the bed and that it was a bit difficult to build. The bed was delivered within the time frame promised, with all the pieces needed and took about 2 hours to build and set up (2 people working on it). Our son loves it! He loves the LED lights in the headboard, loves the amount of space under the bed for storage and loves the charging outlets on top of the headboard. The bed is extremely sturdy, makes no noise and feels secure. A box spring is not needed with this bed, but we had one from his old bed, so we did use the box spring and mattress so he is up a bit higher than normal, but he loves that as well! ... show more
