Looking for a frame to match light colored flooring, and this was perfect. Although there are lots of pieces, the directions were clear and easy to follow. Note where it says to leave bolts untightened until the sequence of steps is complete - parts needs to jiggle and flex into place and then tightened. A couple Allen wrench drill bit investments made it even faster, but the little hand wrenches are included and work fine. It's only 70 pounds and a small profile (not bulky). I like the light strip and USB port on the top shelf. It's sturdy. We used it to make two twin mattresses into a king using an extra clamp kit to keep things in place side-to-side. This is a great bed. Purchased it for our 8 year old son and he loved the LED lights. The bed is sturdy and was easy to assemble. It’s not heavy so it is easy to move around if need be. The design of the bed is overall great.
