Overall the product is pretty heavy. The king size frame is pushing close to 50lbs. The metals are strong and good quality. You won't have to worry about the slats bowing on you over time. I've owned cheaply made bed frames that bow over time. This is not a problem with this product. The product is easy to assemble and is done in 12 steps. The accessories have everything you need to complete this project; however, I highly recommend using some electric tools to get this job done faster. I love the design for the slat holders. You just pop them in, There is no need to individually bolt it every slat like other products. Give yourself about 30 to 45 minutes to complete the assembly. I also like that this product has rounded corners. That makes a big difference when navigating the bedroom late at night or early groggy mornings. The product has plastic caps to protect your hard wood, but I would still recommend placing a rug underneath the bed. There are 9 points to distribute your weight, so that turns out to be about 50 pounds of support per leg with 2 adults laying on the bed. That is good distribution. If I were to say one thing I did not like about the design is the shape of the feet touching the floor. I wish they would make these frames with rounded feet instead of rectangles. Rounded feet won't concentrate pressure on any edges and it much safer for a hardwood floor. Once assembled, the product is solid. I was able to place my king size memory foam mattress on and it fit perfectly. The product has a good amount of space underneath it for storage. You'll find plenty of storage bins at your local big box store that will fit neatly underneath the bed. I think the product looks great in a modern styled bedroom. It has a very neat, minimalistic look. You could add a headboard if that is your thing, but I like the simple look. Overall, this is a great product and you do not even need a box spring. The bed is comfortable without any additional support. If you are looking to add a new bed to a guest room, this is a very reasonably priced option. I highly recommend this bed frame. ... show more

My nephews bed currently sat on the floor as he has a house bedframe. We decided to get this frame to raise him up and it is just what he needed to keep him off the floor, but still use the house frame around it. Assembly was easy and as the other reviewer stated it comes with the tools to do this but power tools make it much quicker. I have no worries that this full size metal frame will last him a very long time and we will be able to change out the house frame for a regular head board when he is older. ... show more
