There are little clip on things for the sides and bottom that keep the mattress from sliding around. So my old wood bed broke a few weeks ago and stumbled on this metal frame. What cought my attention was the sturdiness as it says that it can hold up to 3500 lbs, the under storage space as it's a 14" high bed frame which gives you about 12" of actual storage hieght, rounded foot end legs so you don't stub you're toes on a corner, and it has the holes for a headboard if you want to add one which I did. I had an issue getting one part on thinking it was defective but they're fantastic customer service rep Lillian explained the trick then it was finished almost immediately after that. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. I still need a new matress but this frame has great support, you don't need a box spring. I feel very comfortable. I recommend this frame it's great quality and a good price. I'm very happy. ... show more

I have had the frame for a couple months now and it hasn't shown any signs of braking. It was easy to assemble with two people and the rounded corners are a nice touch. It definitely holds it weight and works well with my boxspring. The height is perfect for storage i can even fit my sewing machine underneath. I replaced a heavy duty king bed frame with this one and have been mostly happy with it. My only complaint is the middle leg on either side should be more towards the center of the frame, I keep stubbing my toes. This is very easy to put together, and I would have given 5 stars if the frame was a bit heavier and if the middle legs weren’t in the way. ... show more

We had an older ‘platform’ under our mattress, it was homemade and given to us, made of wood, extremely heavy, you get the idea. Well, somewhere I saw an ad for metal bed frames, and thought…wait..we need this ! So we talked about it, husband says ..yes, we do need one. After much looking and comparing, I ordered this one. It arrived fast. It wasn’t hard to assemble. We both did it, not hard , didn’t take long. We put our mattress on top of it ….now it is 2 inches shorter than that platform thing was, so that took a few days to adjust to, but no problem. Now, we sleep on it every night….can’t feel much difference, except neither of us bump our legs on the edges 😁 anymore. And of course, we put junk under it. I had sewn a bed skirt for the old thing; it works fine with this. So, if you are considering a metal bed frame, check this one out…we love it.
