I've tried a number of eye moisturizing drops. Most were so so. Many provided short term relief at best. My eye doctor recommended these drops. I was amazed at how thoroughly they wet my eyes. I have used this dry eye aid for a few years and have not found one that works as well for me. Rohto makes several different kinds of drops, but the purple packaged one is the best. I have very dry eyes and use this in between my prescription applications for a little extra help. Using both gives me good relief. Has a nice cooling effect similar to mouthwash for your eyeballs! Refreshing! It's an amazing product. Great for dry eyes or tired eyes.

    • Wow, these surprised me (pleasantly!)
I was frankly amazed by how well these work. I have dry eye syndrome, and had been using Systane, but switched over to these, and can't believe how great they are! Seriously, I was using drops every couple hours, but with these, it seems like once in the morning and once before bed are all it takes to keep my eyes moisturized and non-scratchy feeling. I got the type WITH preservatives, as after the eye drop recalls, I grew concerned about any PF product. Be sure you get the DryAid formula, as it's NOT among those recalled, and WOW, does it work wonders. I just love it. :) ... show more

I have loved using this product. It has become very hard to find in stores. They have expanded their product line but I love the original one and hope that Amazon keeps it in stock. It is soothing to use and really helps to keep your eyes moisturized.

    • Has been my favorite dry eye relief
I've had pretty regular dry eye at night since I had PRK surgery many years ago. I only really get it in the middle of the night, when I wake up. This has been my favorite relief for a couple of reasons. First is that it does have a nice cooling effect rather than a burn that some other brands have. It works right away. The applicator is also pretty precise and I don't feel I waste as much. My mom gets dry eye too, different reasons and usually during the day, and now also prefers it to other brands.     • Gentle Effective Eye Drops
I have used other Rhoto products that caused burning in the eye but this one is very gentle and effective. I will buy it again since its price point is much better than another brand I was using and the effectiveness is about the same.
