  • Powerful Router
I took the plunge and spent the money on this beast of a router. I'm glad I did. With kids doing their online work and working from home, I needed something that could handle multiple zoom calls. This did the trick. I highly recommend anyone with many devices sharing wifi to take a look at this router. ... show more

  • Great claims of speed and features.
ASUS products are great, there lack of user friendly documentation is a problem. I have the RT-AC 5300 in AIMesh mode. After 5 years from the first time I bought two of these guys to extend my Wireless LAN. They finally created a feature to extend any of the wireless networks, protecting your native LAN. The AX-11000 Has a similar interface but, so I started with similar setting from the AC5300. The guess network channels in 2.4GHZ would not meet demands on speed. The 5GHZ channel which Amazon Firestick runs on, would not stream properly after all the setting I tried to dial in. Went online to read other reviews, seem isolating channels to a range might be the fix. Didn't work for me. Also the fun of getting the AIMesh node to be found in the AIMesh Router search is getting the router to actually default back to original settings. ... show more

  • Best router in the market, period!
I recently upgraded from a Netgear gaming router and the AX11000 simply destroys it in every possible way. Stronger signal, much more stable and the apps actually work. No need to reboot this often like with the netgear, it just works! Highly recommended even if you do not have Wifi 6 devices right now ... show more

Swapped out a asusZen ax mesh router for this. This has a lot more power. Great router . There is a newer model coming and I'll own it. I have five asus routers and this is the best yet

  • Four ports not 8 - Important info ASUS left out!
As you can also verify by it's pictures, this router has only 4 Ethernet ports, not 8. This mistake is most likely due to being mistaken for a newer more expensive model that runs about $600+ which is still on backorder. That being said, discovered this router has important features that ASUS, either left out, or assumed customers might figure out on their own, which in all honesty, was not smart on their part, because it was this missing information that had me pass up many of their other models, and only because it was luck they advertised another feature I did want, that I purchased this. Gaming and websites: If you are like me, or have kids who run their own servers, know how important it is to set a static IP to each PC, and port forwarding for games like Minecraft, Starbound, Ragnarok. It's a lot of data that one would hate to have to re enter every time you got a new router, or upgraded one to a better model. In my situation, my family runs over 113 different online gaming servers, and a few websites. I discovered I was easily able to export everything from my ASUS AC3100, to the ASUS ROG RAPTURE GTX11000, without throwing entire family offline having to spend hours programming the thing. I'll even tell you how I did this, so please rate this helpful if this has helped you. All the instructions I moved to the side, plugged the RogRapture power in, then using a USB cable, plugged in my Android tablet into the bottom USB connection of the Rog Rapture. I first set wifi on my tablet to the ASUS AC3100, logged in and went into administration where I downloaded the settings file to my Android Tablet. Once done, I looked up the wifi default broadcast for the new Rog Rapture which I plugged in the power, and turned on earlier, without even assembling the antennas yet. I used 192.168.1.1. but you can also use router.asus.com via the chrome browser. The routers setup menu loaded up, and I selected advanced, load settings which is also Import, and selected the settings file I just saved earlier from the older ASUS AC3100. In under a minute, watched the loading bar show it was importing the older file with no errors, then rebooted itself. I was greeted with my login screen requesting password I had set on my old system, logged in to a menu system 100 times the size of my old system, with many new options, but all my server, port towards, serial IPs, passwords, they were all there and everything was set. No further programming needed, except for what I will be adding using the new features. I powered off, unplugged my tablet, added the attenas, went to the location of my old router, then moved all the Ethernet cables from old to new including the modem cable, plugged in the new power cord and put the new router in the old routers location in under a minute, so it only took 45 seconds from turning it on for everyone to get service again, and no one had to log in all over again as it used my old settings. If you need more help with this just ask and I'll reply. Best router out there in my opinion, and none of that having to reboot the router, like so many after a big download. Tech support will get 5 stars when they get back to me. ... show more
