I bought this for my carry on for a flight to Vegas on Allegiant. Our current carry on suitcase is smaller, I think its 18inches. My husband and I are fluffy and our clothes take up a ton of space, but I'm paranoid about checking luggage and it getting lost, we can't just buy new clothes easily due to our size. This suitcase holds a lot of clothes, we went to Vegas in Feb, and it was cold and this thing held a ton of heavy clothing, jeans/sweatshirts. It rolls really well and the pull out handle is a little delicate until you get it pulled out all the way, but the quality feels good. I used it for my recent 7 day cruise, and packed a whole week of clothes in it. I ordered one for my husband for our next cruise in Sept. Its not the highest quality product, but it is spacious and for a carry on, the quality is fine. I stuffed it for our cruise and the zippers held firm.
