Not to be one of those “I never leave reviews” kind of people, but I really never leave reviews unless I just LOVE a product. And let me just say it has been such a life saver. Background: right when my baby turned 5.5 months old he decided he didn’t want to nap on his crib anymore. He went from napping 1-2 hrs solid in his crib (black out, white noise, all that), to screaming and just not napping every time we put him down. He started to *only* want to nap either in our arms or in the car for about 30 min.The car was his favorite though, the vibration got him so sleepy and kept him asleep. My husband and I would literally drive all over the place for every nap, every day, for about a week straight since we were so desperate for him to fall asleep (an overtired baby is horrible to deal with as you probably know, so we did what it took). However it really started wearing on us. So I figured there had to be a way to mimic the vibration of the car. I looked this up and found it, ordered it, got here 2 days later and now my life is is a million times better!! I take it with me everywhere now even if we’re not home for nap time or or crib isn’t around. Was so excited about this product as our little one loves to constantly be moving. Within 4 uses it completely stopped working. Would not charge no life at all. Reached out to the company to ask for a new one/refund they want everything short of a blood sample. Company is not easy to work with. This thing is pretty awesome. Best product available. That said, I’ve been using it for a month now and here are several opportunities for improvement: -Make the vibration have a ramp down function. Babies react well to slowly decreasing the movement until they are asleep. -Make the device be able to work while charging. Incase your partner uses the device in her sleep multiple times and forgets to charge it. -develop some way to adjust the intensity. Different pieces of furniture need different amount of rocking. -consider adding some sort of way for the device to guess the baby is awake and to automatically turn on. -include the 2nd mount strap in the box ... show more

    • I was skeptical… but glad I got this.
My newborn would not sleep unless he was being held. While I love holding him, I have seven other children. My husband went back to work, so I needed him to nap without being held. I attached this to his co-sleeper (Arms Reach) and he will sleep a solid 2 hours! I usually start it on the higher setting, then turn it down once’s he’s settled. When he wakes up, it rocks him back to sleep. It will turn off after one hour. So, sometimes I will have to restart it. But he’s learning to self settle. ... show more

My husband found this item when our baby was 2month old, and it was a life saver. We recommended everyone who plans to have a baby. The adapter is kinda inconvenient to take it on and off, so we bought an extra. BUT the rocker only lasts 4 months. It suddenly stopped rocking even though it fully charged. It’s not extremely expensive like stroller but not cheap for an accessory for that short amount of time. Think smart before purchasing. But when it’s working it will save your energy. ... show more

    • GAME CHANGER
We bought this device on a whim, thinking we could mount it to our bassinet after previously spending hours rocking our bassinet just for our baby to fall asleep. While it doesn’t necessarily “rock” the bassinet for us, it creates a vibrating sensation that I imagine is JUST like a car ride. Our little boy completely passes out on car rides, so this was perfect. Now at night, we’re able to feed him, change him, swaddle him, turn this on, and he puts himself to sleep. In the middle of the night if he begins to fuss, we turn the device back on and he’s able to soothe himself back to sleep. We LOVE the RockIt and use it and bring it everywhere. In his swing, in his bouncer, for naps, for nighttime sleep…it’s a game changer for Velcro babies or babies that love motion. Some people have mentioned the battery life is questionable after time. We haven’t had any issues yet but we would absolutely replace this a million times over if we had to. That’s how good it is! ... show more
