Had bought an expensive swing thinking my daughter would love it unfortunately she didn't like it even a little. I decided to give this one a try to see if it was the other swing or if my baby just doesn't like swings. Was shocked when she sat in this swing with no issue and fell asleep. This swing is great its small so doesn't take up much room it can easily be closed so you can take it away if you need to and my baby loves it giving me a chance to get something done without having to hold her. The only issue I have is the seat there is no support in the bottom so she sinks in she doesn't seem to mind but her head is a little to forward for my liking other than that its great. ... show more

We have this & mamaroo. My baby prefers this by a long shot. When I need to get something done, I pop him in and play the dancing fruit videos and it keeps him content. It’s a life saver! As an added bonus, when I put him in the swing on the lowest setting it helps him poop and release farts. So whenever I hear him start to grunt, I put him in the swing wait a couple minutes and alas we have a poop! Absolutely love this swing. It’s cute, light, compact, and has a great price point. This is one of the better purchases I made for baby. He easily falls asleep in the swing. I put a blanket over him and turn on the rocker and he is so comfy. Occasionally, he doesn't want the rocker on and falls asleep without it. The rocker feature is nice, but I would never leave it higher than the lowest setting. I find the others way too fast. It is a little annoying that it automatically turns on to the second setting for the rocker speed. Nice that the rocker stops after a while on its own. The music is ok. A little loud but some of the songs are softer. Another downside is as others have mentioned that the seat dips a little low so you wouldn't want to leave baby in too long, but short naps are fine. I wasn't able to find a seat insert that fit with the straps sadly. Pretty easy to move and fold. The seat doesn't always stay folded completely flat but not really an issue. I use the swing everyday and baby also enjoys just sitting and observing in it. Now that he is older he sucks his hands or grabs his feet so he is occupied for a while when he is not sleepy as well. OKAY--- it is beyond ADORABLE, and for all swing-purposes, it does its job. For the negatives: Here I bought it thinking it was easily portable... nope. I guess it is portable, but it certainly isn't easy to move around. If something is portable, it should have HANDLES! In order to move the swing, you have to carry it on the only part of the swing that doesn't move, which is the part where everything is connected on the sides- okay, these things are big with no natural place to hold since they are basically round and wide, so you struggle trying to carry it. The buttons to close the legs in often stick and won't pop in for the legs to collapse, making it harder to move. Plus the legs don't collapse that far in. I thought they should have made the toy bar the handle as well since it sits in the top middle which is a good grabbing point, especially if you want to carry it with one hand. But you can't carry this with one hand because there isn't really anywhere to hold it. If you do try carrying it with one hand, it flops to the side and the legs and seat just bounce against you. The toy bar is easily detachable which I guess it needs to, otherwise your baby's head keeps hitting it when you take them in and out of it. Though it also can fall out easily when putting it in and taking it out of the car. Not sure why they think this is portable just because it is considered smaller than other swings because it doesn't have any other characteristics of something being portable. No handles, no way to secure parts from moving around, too wide to carry with one hand. IF you aren't necessarily buying this to tote back and forth around your house or the car, then it is an adorable and small swing. Just be cautious that since it is low to the ground, if you have a tall baby, their feet will be on the floor before they reach the weight limit, thus you won't be able to use it as long as you may have hoped ... show more
