When opened, the pedals fellout of the package because the box was crushed. No installation instructions. No allen wrench for installation. You may think installation is simple. I would think so also. After using pliers to tighten the pedal (and marring them) I found a video on line that shows to take an allen wrench and screw them in from the back through the threaded part of the pedal arm on the bike itself. I love these pedals! I have a Cannondale Hardtail Trail bike and know it is not a glamour item to brag about but I am 5’10”/205lbs and these pedals stand up to not only by body weight but the torque I give to them as I ride. They are a bit tricky to tighten during installation but once you have them in the crank; don’t look back! The studs on each pedal is a cause for concern if you slip off but they grip my shoes so well; I do t foresee that being much of an issue. Highly recommend!!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The pedal spin smooth but I’m not sure how much difference having four bearings make. The cleats screw in from the top(not my favorite) and the tool supplied to tighten them rounded off quickly. my wife and I both lost a cleat on our first ride. The aluminum is soft and any contact will cause gouging on the petals but overall they are good for my use on my XC bike. I run a cheaper polymer pedal on my trail bike. ... show more
