This Carburetor replaced the original Rochester carburetor on my Dad's 72 Chevrolet Pickup truck. The original carburetor and just worn out over 250,000 miles of use! This is a rebuilt carburetor, but they did a great job of rebuilding it. Made it just out of my driveway and my truck died , started back up and ran only a few seconds at a time. Thinking maybe the float was stuck closed but surely wasn’t investing a second into fixing it. Would not buy, better off rebuilding an original quadrajet.

I'm very pleased so far - I installed the carburetor and the car fired right up. The only adjustment so far that I did was set the idle. I still need to adjust the mixture screws, then we will know for sure. If it all goes as planned, it was a good value.
