I love the Stain and Odor Eliminator, but this stuff isn't the same. As far as I can tell, it's not much different than what you would buy from Bissel or any other carpet cleaning company.

This works well with cat urine (one of the cats peed in a corner where there’s carpet (yuk) but smell eventually went away !(it does take a couple cleanings depending on how saturated the area is). It has a light to no scent so I was worried it wasn’t working as good but there was no residual urine smell while shampooing or after the carpets had dried. The bottle was a lot smaller then I originally thought but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. What my problem is , is while yes it helps with pet scents, it replaces it with a very chemically scent. I was sort of expecting a nicer scent to be left on its place or even the absence of scent. I wasn't too thrilled with the very chemically and manufactured sort of smell. After recently adopting a sweet two-year old poodle mix who was thought to be housebroken from the humane society, I quickly learned that she was not, in fact, housebroken. A neighbor recommended that I try Rocco and Roxie. While there were less expensive options available, my main concern was finding something that works. This product seems to work very well. Although we are still working on the house-training, there haven't really been "repeat offenses" in areas that have been treated with Rocco and Roxie. I try stay on top of things by finding/cleaning the accidents as quickly as possible (first, getting as much of the mess up as possible, and then using this with a carpet cleaning machine), which probably helps.
