Wow! This kitchen is extremely well made. The paint is thick, even, and durable. Every single screw is countersunk, and the parts and pieces are all high quality. It was not difficult to put together, I found it to be rather easy even on my own. Every piece fit as intended and the whole thing is so sturdy. Took some focus and thought, and exactly 2 hours to do by myself. But it was a fun process, like putting together a Lego set. This is the 2nd kitchen I have ordered from Amazon. The first one I bought to save money as it was much less expensive. It was from Teamson Kids. It was so awful. We put it together and in 3 days the doors quit working and it was also very easy to scratch the whole thing just seemed cheap. I am so glad I decided to spend the extra on this kitchen. The Robud kitchen is much higher quality than any play kitchen I have seen. It is also beautiful to look at. The wood for the counter top and frame is solid wood and it even smells like fresh cut wood. I can tell this will last for years. Even as my child gets taller. Because the frame is solid wood, adding furniture feet to the bottom to lift it up will be easy to do. Every accessory is perfectly made and is adorable. All accessories and door handles came individually hand wrapped in tissue paper. The attention to detail in packaging was impressive. Every item was like a little gift. My only one draw back is that the sink is very small. I am going to look for a larger plastic bin and cut the wood countertop to make it fit. But for most families the small sink will be a non issue. The sink is very durable and made of the same wood as the rest of the kitchen. Beautiful, well made, and fun for my child. It took me 1h45 to build it alone with an electric screwdriver. I did not hurry and it was actually very pleasant to build it. Instructions are well made + there is a 7-min step by step video available online that did help. Being used currently by a 18-month girl. She loves it. Keeps playing with it and cooking for me. It provides a new activity to do together. She also plays with it on her own. It’s VERY cute, solid, steady, high quality + there are great accessories in wood. Perfect height for 18 months old and probably younger. I would not recommend to wait 3 years old as per the description on Amazon. Bought additional dishes and it does need some fake food. The only minor negative points: 1) the washer has a door fully closed, but the microwave and oven’s doors have an empty area in the middle. An open oven? Not realistic! and 2) it arrived with a little damage on one panel (not much though). ... show more

I purchased this for my grandchild and he has had so much fun with it. The quality is good and sturdy and it looks exactly like it is pictured. Was a bit of a bear to put together but worth it.

This is nice quality and seems to be sturdy so far. It was easy to put together and took me maybe an hour and a half. Great directions were provided and the parts were numbered making it even easier. The pieces that came with it (plates, bowls, pans, etc.) are nice and sturdy as well. Knocking one star off because one of the pieces of the kitchen came chipped. The kitchen is a great gift! It took me about an hour to build and had very detailed instructions which was great. I purchased woven baskets from target to put play food in the open shelving as well. I hope the fridge becomes available soon because it would tie the kitchen look together so well! I also used gorilla glue to stick the sink into the island as well as the little knobs that hold the spatulas too! ... show more

We bought this play kitchen two years ago. We wanted something made of wood, without too many unnecessary parts and accessories. Our kids play with it daily. At the time we purchased it, we had a 1 year old, and now she is 3 years old and we have another 1 year old. It definitely grows with them, which we like. Very durable to daily use, with the exception of the wooden sink faucet, which cracked at the base, so doesn't stay on anymore. That in part has to do with a toddler moving it in and out a lot. Nothing some wood glue can't fix. I'm excited to see some new items in this color scheme, so will be making some more purchases soon. ... show more
