Instruction for installation was WRONG-for 5 series (or missing at least). I would not buy it if you are an android person (The wireless android auto did not work well, keep disconnecting). Thinking about returning it

I have been using this for 6 months w/o an issue. Over the past 2-3 weeks, the screen started to blank out for seconds at the time. Sometimes it comes back as if nothing happened. Other times, it goes off for long periods of time, and the screen displays "No Signal" in BMW amber color (as if it was an OEM message). Also, the phone reconnects over BT minutes after the car has been powered off completely. Almost as if the unit continues to get power from the car battery, and the phone re-syncs with it. Unless a firmware refresh can solve the issue, it seems the unit is broken. ... show more

Simple to install, takes about an hour. It’s a nice addition when it works but it is very clunky and only works about 25% of the time in my 2016 BMW X5.

The install took about an hour in my 2015 BMW 528i and I have to say this alone made me feel like I got a new car. It works flawlessly (with the exception of my old iPhone 7 showing it's age with Carplay). I've never used Carplay before and I am blown away. Totally worth the price and seems to work exactly like other competitors offers that are more than double the price. If my wife's 2017 BMW 540i didn't already have Carplay ready to be activated, I would have put it in hers too. ... show more

    • Doesn't work most of the time
It would been great if this thing work at least %80 of the time. Struggling to have wirelessly connect with android auto or Apple play, with %90 of the time will not work. Emailed the customer service three times for help or to find if there an update and no response. Will not

Just added this new Module to my 2013 BMW 528i XDrive! It is everything I needed. The quality is incredible. There are somethings to pay attention to. 1. When switching out the wires from the screen in the car. Unplug the OEM wiring from the monitor and put that in the module and use their wiring to go from the module to the screen. For some reason that’s the only way it will work. 2. YouTube other videos for instructions or request customer service. Their customer service is incredible. 3. Take your time with the screws, I drops two behind the radio smh. The radio is incredible and worth the buy! ... show more

It works and comes with all the harnesses you need to plug right in for my Alpina B7L 2013. The system it's self is buggy at best. If my phone disconnects it will stay disconnected unless I try to reconnect with the phone and that's still inconsistent. The audio quality is lesser then before and has a small noise static when nothing is playing. ... show more
