One deck was complete, the other was missing one card. The cards are very slippery and waterproof as described. We are using one of the jokers as the missing card. The case holds the cards nicely, but the lid doesn’t stay on very well. We are using a rubber band.

My dad is 87 and loves to play cards. As you can imagine, he needs durable and readable cards and these fit the bill. They're plastic so they'll last a long time and weather the wear-and-tear of multiple shuffling, sliding across the table, and everything else. He likes that he can hold them in his hand without an issue, read the large numbers and not worry about them falling apart. I'd definitely purchase these again. They come in a nice plastic box that holds 2 decks of cards, but b/c he likes to carry his cards around in his shirt pocket, I wish these came in their own individual package/box. These don't have the "paper" texture feel that many plastic cards (KEM, Da Vinci, CoPag) have. They are glossy on both sides, and seem very thin. Now the thinness is not an issue with me - I kind of like the ease of shuffling. Thickness of the cards is more a matter of taste in my opinion. The ink on these cards is very good and I like the pattern on the backs, but I haven't had them long enough to speak to their durability. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because they don't have the texture I expected. You can tell just by looking at them that they are PVC. On some of the brands mentioned above, the texture really makes them seem like they are made of paper, at least to people who aren't familiar with the 100% Plastic cards. ... show more

II purchased these cards in Sept. I've been playing with them in my weekly poker game for 5 hours a night. Just about 3 months and just started noticing a slight bend in then in our last game, but with the quality of these cards I'm thinking that it may correct it's self while they are out away, If not they have held up very well and they are excellent cards. The o my issue I have with these cards are that they are a little too slick! That's a minor problem but other wise they are good cards. I'm trying something else next time. If I have the same issue with my bre deck I will buy these cards again, because the price is really good. ... show more

I bought these for my grandsons ( 8 year old twins). Regular cards were always getting bent or torn and were difficult for them to shuffle. These made a world of difference. They have pretty heavy kid-use and are holding up well.
