We definitely were a little skeptical about this reading some reviews saying that the power cage has a Little Rock to it. We have not experienced that whatso ever. Our power cage is very sturdy and we haven’t had any issues. The set up time took us 2 hours start to finish (2 people) directions were pretty clear but we highly recommend using a drill instead of the wrenches they send. That saved us a lot of time. One thing we are not a fan of/only complaint is the barbell squat rack hooks. The hooks are made out of plastic and it scares us if we are lifting a lot of weight. I was interested in this package because it was a way to get everything at once (rack, functional trainer, bench, bar, weights) and was reasonably priced. I found quite a few product reviews and comparison videos to others in the same price range; this one had the better reviews and was a more complete package. For context, I have twins turning 13. We're not racking out 800-lb squats here. This was the most complete way to get them started and the upside in weight rating will handle whatever they want to do for a long time. This isn't intended to be in a commercial gym so it met my expectations. The build process wasn't too bad. There was one spot that things didn't fit perfectly, but I'm guessing the parts are built to specs +/- a percent or two threshold, and each being off the opposite direction could cause it to not be perfect. But I loosened a couple other bolts and had enough give to get the nut threaded, and it pulled into place just fine. I did have one real problem with a knob that wouldn't thread into the carriage system that moved the functional trainer up and down on the upright. I was pretty upset that the whole thing might not prove out, but I reached out to customer service, got an email response immediately, and had a new part in days. I may not be the worst out there, but I have pretty high expectations for customer service - and they surpassed with flying colors. I have a gym membership at planet fitness and got sick of waiting around for the “bros” who were constantly hogging up the only two smith machines. I started looking into getting a squat rack for my garage because I’m a working mom of two and can only commit to an hour, three times a week at most for the gym. This includes my drive to and from the gym so when I end up wasting precious “me time” waiting around for the smith machines, I get very frustrated. That’s when I decided to go for it and purchased this set during their Black Friday sale. This here rack has dang near everything I need to get in a full body workout within 45 minutes total!! I’ve had it for a couple of weeks now and I’m absolutely obsessed! I just bought dip attachments (from a different brand) that I will be adding to it as well as additional pegs for more plates storage as I will be ordering more soon. It feels very sturdy expect when I’m jumping up and doing pull ups, that’s when I get a little nervous because it’s making a noise? Im probably just hearing the attachments on the pulley system because it seems stable and my husband says he doesn’t hear it when he is doing chin ups. I’m just paranoid and am probably overthinking it but I still might use the bolts that come with it for extra stability. The customer support has been beyond phenomenal and went ahead and sent me a new barbell because mine showed up with a small dent in it. It’s still 100% usable so now I have two barbells in my set up:) I’m so excited to see how much more my lifts will start to progress now that I have a real squat rack!!! 100% recommended, you will not regret it! ... show more

First off, The power cage gets the job done and assembly was not too difficult. Overall, I would rate it a 4.3/5. My issue was with the bench. The bench is unable to sit flat, the flattest setting is roughly 5-10 degrees from flat. It also does not sit 90 degrees. The bottom portion collides with the underside of the bench and tears the fabric. Customer service offered me 10 dollars after insisting it was designed for optimal mechanics. It wasn’t about the money, it was about refusal to take ownership for a poor design. Get bench from another seller ... show more

Got this a few months back, already lost 13lbs. Working out about 3 times a week. Great ease of having a gym at home to work out on your own personal schedule or just whenever you have the time too. Quality and appearance is great. Fit in my home with 9ft ceiling. You definitely get the performance from this as if you’re in the gym.
