I bought this Sept 18/2020 Im writing this review Oct 19/2020. Lasted less than 1 month before my 58lb Pit Mix pulled thru the stitches on the D-Ring with one pop! As you can see the outer leather ripped right along the perforations from the stitches. Design Flaw. I guarantee this is not the only time this will happen to someone. The collar itself is great. The construction is flawed. If you look at the way its constructed this outer layer is much thinner standard leather and is literally perforated. Not rocket science. Should be reinforced with kevlar or something IMHO. ... show more

Looks good on my 80lbs Shepherd. The leather is soooo smooth and soft. I'll update this later after she wear and tear, but it seems pretty solid.

I have a 65 lb German shepherd mix and this collar is perfect for him. The metal loop for the leash is actually at the back of the neck making it easy to engage/disengage his leash. My dog could get out of his previous collar but this one is thicker and sturdier. He cannot get out of this one! Unfortunately, one of the leather loops disconnected on one side. You can see it in the pictures. I'll have to get that professionally fixed, which makes this collar more expensive for me. In spite of that, I still recommend the collar. Very comfortable and well made! Our hound dog is 55 lbs. I ordered a Medium which fit just perfectly. There is a ring for his tags. The double padding makes it more durable and doesn’t twist around as much on his neck. The stitching is a nice accent. We’ve had it a week and no complaints! I was a little surprised that it came all rolled up in a small plastic zip lock bag - no company card or brand name. But once we put it on, we liked it. ... show more

He loves the collar, I love the collar. Looks very stark with the orange against his black fur and I love it. I take him running with me at night while I ride a long board and I can see him 50 ft away in the dark. Tried to take the collar off to show a good pic of the soft comfy inside and he wasn’t having it. Thank you very much to the designers and creators, I can’t tell you how long I’ve searched for a high quality, comfy and sharp looking collar for him and now I’m done 🕺 ... show more

I bought this for part of an outfit (for a human), assuming the quality was comparable to the photo. It isn't. Not only is the stitching sloppier and build of the collar weaker, it was dirty right out of the package, staining my hands orange (the kind of inky stain that can't be removed easily from hands or leather). The hardware was also rusted. The quality of the leather is okay, but the cheap glue used to hold it together looks bad. I guess it's suitable for a dog, but I wouldn't put it on any dog with light fur because of the orange stickiness. I'm also sure the rusted hardware right out of the package doesn't bode well for its durability. I can't recommend this product and i'll attempt to return it. ... show more
