I've had this for at least a year now. The first few months were cool. No issues. Now the for the past 5 months. The right side of the charger was having seating issues with the battery. Then eventually I discovered that the connector because of Micro USB poor design and Ring and this company not using USB-C. I now a battery that will not charge due to damage from the charging dock. So be aware do you get what you pay for. So don't be a cheapskate and just save the money to buy the original Ring dock. ... show more

I had a hard time finding a single battery charger for my ring battery. I have absolutely NO idea where I put the original. This has worked fine, although, we have had a few issues with it. First, I put it on the charger at one point overnight and by morning when I put it back into the Ring, it hadn't charged at all. Important to note, the lights were on that indicated it was charging! So, put it back on and it charged fine while I was at work that day, but annoying that I had to go without a doorbell for a while. Second, I'm not sure where the issue is for this problem, but ever since I started using this charger versus the (now lost) original charger, the battery only lasts a month or so. Before, it was lasting closer to three months. Not sure if it's a charger issue or battery issue but we have not even had the Ring for a full year. On the positive, it is nice that there are lights that indicate if its properly plugged in and working. And being able to charge two batteries at once is a benefit as well, although not necessary for us. However, I probably will buy another battery so we never have to go without a doorbell while we wait for it to charge. But overall, this battery charger works fine, especially for the price point. MY recommendation is don't lose the original one like I did but if you do, this works. ... show more

A lot of people may have placed their batteries in the docking tray for nothing to turn on/ charge. The same happen to me but after wiggling them down and pushing until I heard an - audible click - they lit up and started charging. Ultimately, a little finicky to get it going but once they’re charging, they’re charging. Make sure the green light is just above the top of the docking tray, any higher and it’s not seated right. ... show more
