  • Excellent product to have backup batteries
I purchased this prior to South Africa trip and wanted to make sure I had plenty of extra batteries when on photography safaris. Loved being able to charge 3 at time (if needed). They may hold their charge quite as long as a Canon battery but also much better bang for the buck.

  • Perfect!
Great batteries for my Canon R5 and R6!

  • Canon EOS R6 Mark II spare batteries
I purchased these as backup batteries for a Canon EOS R6 Mark II camera I received at Christmas. I have an EOS 7D Mark II and EOS R. Both are fairly frugal and I can get quite a few shots with these batteries on these cameras. I knew the R6 and R5 cameras, which have in body stabilization (IBS) use more battery than my long-term cameras. At my first shoot, I found this out taking photos as a high school play and ran out of battery on my main Canon battery about 2/3rds through and had taken just under 1000 images. I popped in one of the FirstPower batteries and was good to go! These batteries seem to hold as much charge as the Canon original batteries. I like the 3 bay charger and it charged the batteries fairly quickly. I was able to charge my Canon brand batteries in this charger and I charged the FirstPower batteries in the standard Canon charger that shipped with the camera. These are a cost-effective and, so far, good option for backup batteries for my Canon camera an EOS R6 Mark II. They also work in my EOS R and 7D Mark II. ... show more

  • I'm astonished.
I bought this just for the charger since it was compact and would charge multiple batteries at the same time. My previous history with non-Canon batteries was dismal at best so I had zero expectations for the included batteries to actually be good. Reader let me tell you these batteries have all performed better than the LP-E6NH batteries I spent $80 a piece on from Canon! I just pop 2 of these into the battery grip and I'm covered for every event I shoot except 8+ hour weddings where I just swap out for another set around the 6 hour mark and I'm good to go. This has been beyond my expectations and I reach for these no-name batteries first ahead of my genuine Canon batteries every time. Just make sure you use the included 3-battery charger since these batteries have a higher capacity than the Canon ones and I believe the standard Canon charger won't charge them up fully. Could not recommend these enough! ... show more

  • Work Great
I use these in my R7, I’ve been using this brand of camera battery for at least a year and all the packs still hold an awesome charge and work great. Don’t spend the extra money for a brand name

  • Works great, no issues.
The charger worked great out of the box, no issues and if you use a decent power block it charges all three batteries relatively quickly. Note that these batteries have a longer battery life than canons original batteries.

  • Doesn't hold a charge as long as OEM battery
Three batteries and a USB charger at this price seemed too good to pass up. However, I read the reviews that there were two issues, 1) no internal circuitry that provides a serial number identification (yet one of the three I bought did generate a SN ID); 2) shorter battery life. I bought these as I started digitizing 35mm slides using a macro lens and a Canon EOS 6D camera in live mode/auto focus. This is very energy intensive with the back LCD screen on all the time. Despite the FirstPower being a type LP-E6NH (2950mAh), it ran down to 1% charge 2-3 times as quickly as my old Canon LP-E6 (1800mAh) batteries with only one out of three bars left on rechargeable. CAVEAT. This is just the first cycle for the FirstPower rechargeable batteries and it is often necessary to cycle them 3-5 times before they reach peak performance and capacity. Thus I hope things improve as I continue to use them (it is a multi-month project). ... show more

  • Fantastic value, great battery!
As a professional photographer I need a lot of batteries and always buying OEM is not necessarily the best financial decision. Bottom line is that the batteries are fantastic and are equal to OEM at 1/3 the price. Outstanding charging performance and incredibly easy to charge with the included charger! ... show more
