I’ve been purchasing from the Rig brand of headsets for a few years now. My first headset i really put through the wringer and it lasted me a year. - for a headset under 50$ i was happy with that outcome. Upon my 2nd purchase of a (used) rig headset it lasted me probably 2 months. I chalked it up to it being a refurbished headset that probably was of lower quality condition. During Amazons sale, i was browsing and decided to buy a new Rig headset, excited and reaffirmed that i knew this brand made a solid brand of headsets. After 4 days of waiting, I received my headset, the box was in good condition, but the headset did not work. Upon immediately plugging it in the volume did not work, and made buzzing noises. Turning the volume up to max only made the buzzing louder, and the audio barely audible. Not the standards i know Rig for. Regardless i payed out of pocket, and waited 4 days for a broken product. I dont care what company you are - thats bad business. So i’m left with 3 choices. 1. Ship product back and receive a new one 2. Ship product back and receive refund 3. Trouble shoot I’ve had more bad experiences with this brand of headset than good. You might as well just chip out the extra $30-40 on top to get a better headset, than having a comapny like RIG, who makes cheap headsets like this, give you the run around with their poorly made microphones. ... show more

Product arrived on the 6th of Dec. Looked flimsy but felt alright. Sound quality was little better a 5 dollar set. Had not had the chance to test the mic, which was a plug in type, saddly the head set just broke into a few pieces I assume my medium sized dog rested on it when I left it on the bed.

My daughter says they're comfortable, but I don't like that I can hear the audio from them. When she's chatting with friends, I can hear every word they say when her iPad volume is at the lowest setting.
