  • Unique shape and top quality
Style: Fine
Amazing glasses! Riedel beer glass is slightly smaller than my lovely Spiegelau Barrel Aged tulip beer glass. Unique shape, elegant proportions, top quality. Comfy to hold. I enjoy sipping barrel aged stouts and barlewines from this glass. Happy with that gift from myself to myself. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Very Nice Pinot Glasses
Style: Old World Pinot Noir
I have always wanted some Riedel wine glasses, so was happy to get these during the recent Prime Days. They are very thin and lightweight and need I say "delicate". But they make drinking pinot even more pleasurable than usual. Recommended.

  • I love these Riedel Champagne glasses!
Style: Moscato/Coupe/Martini
I purchased 12 of these champagne glasses from Amazon. They are beautiful. They come two in a box. I received one box with one glass broken. Amazon replaced the glass without question. I love these Champagne glasses. They add a level of elegance to my parties.

  • previously owned
Style: Viognier/Chardonnay
The Riesdal box was seriously damaged...ripped, dented, etc. The wine glasses were luckely undamaged. These wine glasses, with the langer stems, are just what I was looking for. Will keep these previously owned wine glasses.

  • Perfect Gift For a Sancerre Lover
Style: Sauvignon Blanc
I gave these as a gift, so no idea how durable they will be. They seemed fine while we used them and I have not heard of breakage, but no information is no information. The stem was sturdier than I expected, but still looked very delicate. Package arrived in good order and the wine tasted fantastic (and yes, we tried the same wine in this and a different style glass). Prost! ... show more

  • Worth every penny!!
Style: New World Pinot Noir
I bought these for my husband for Christmas (I'm not a wine drinker) and he absolutely LOVES them!! He said they take an average wine to a whole new level!! They really make the whole experience of drinking wine much better...taste, smell, touch, sight...everything! If you are on the fence, just buy these!! You won't regret it! ... show more

  • Great variety - excellent crystal
Style: Veritas Red Wine 3pc Tasting Set
Riedel's Veritas line is a relatively economical line of crystal products for wine connoisseurs (or those aspiring to be). This is a step up over Riedel's Vinum line. These glasses have a noticeably thinner rim than the Vinum glasses. Also the glass bowls are shaped differently than the Vinum line. The Veritas line is geared more towards those who are serious about wine and are concerned about maximizing the expression of the different wine varietals. As for sturdiness, you just shouldn't treat this like regular glassware. With a crystal wine glass, you deliberately pay more for an increasingly delicate glass because a thinner rim is better for tasting the wine. That being said, this product is packaged well (as are all Riedel products), and I have not broken a single one. The secret is not being careless of heavy-handed. ... show more

  • Beautiful and delicate
Style: New World Pinot Noir
These pinot noir glasses are attractive, very thin glass and light in weight as a result. The shape allows swirling without spilling and delivers aromas beautifully. This is a step up in elegance from any wine glasses we have had in the past and the cost is about as much per stem as I'm comfortable paying. After about 6 months of using a set of 4 of these, we broke one of them and then bought another pair from Amazon, so we now have 5. This was our mistake as someone held the base while trying to clean the bowl - the classic way to break fine glassware by putting a twisting force on the stem. So while these are not overly fragile, breakage is to be expected with very fine stemware. Best advice I have seen is - don't buy any fine glassware if you aren't comfortable with the idea that you're likely to break 1 or 2 glasses per year. ... show more
