I am loving this bike! It climbs hills with ease! I actually got it to get up to 41 mph going down hill! Top speed on a straight a way or even up hill is 30 to 31 mph. I am short 5 foot and I weigh about 117 pounds. The bike is a little big for me when I need to stop, hard to reach the ground. This bike is heavy for me and I can't fit it in my car, even when folded. The charge on the battery is great! The thick tires can get over all kinds of terrain. The brakes work well when riding in rain for over an hour also. My bike also came with saddle bags and a tool kit. Which comes in very handy!! Only poopy part was that the front head light does not stay put very well. I had to add an extra washer to it to keep in place. Love this bike it is everything I wanted in an e-bike and more! ... show more

I have driven it about 100 miles since I got it a few weeks ago and I have to say, the build quality and ride is excellent. This bike truly packs a punch with the powerful 1500W (peak 2000W) motor and I have gotten it almost up to 40mph downhill, cruising at 32 on flat land. The 26” fat tires make for a smooth ride but beware that this bike is very heavy and more difficult to maneuver than its smaller counterparts. This truly feels more like a moped than an e-bike.     • Big bike, Design flaw

I just got the bike and have about 40 miles on it now, some gravel road but I took it out to some trails and it handled well. It’s a big bike and it weighs just over 70 pounds so the handling is definitely a challenge compared with a traditional mountain bike but having the motor on the climb makes it worth it. It does have a huge design flaw. The rear fender when it is installed actually locks out the rear suspension. I’m 270 so during the downhill I actually broke the metal attachment from the fender to the bike and suddenly the rear suspension started working. After looking at it closely I realized that the way they engineered the fender attachments bridged the mechanisms for the suspension making the suspension useless. Needless to say, the fender rattles now so I’m pulling it off. The bike is super solid (besides the fenders) and with the tires inflated to 20lbs it rides really smooth. You can feel the weight when you ride it but it’s not so heavy that you can’t ride it like a regular bike. The seat is super comfortable, the display is nice, the gear shifters are Shimano and work well (so far), the 4” tires are great on gravel and trail and with the bike folded in half I can fit it into the back of my Crosstrek with the seats down. After tax the bike was $1400 and worth every penny….so far. I did get up to 35 mph on flat road with just battery power but to say it’ll go 50 miles like that I’m extremely skeptical. I’m a big guy so I don’t expect to get great mileage but for me the benefit of the bike is that I’m back on the road and with the power assist I can get exercise and go wherever and enjoy it. If you aren’t at least 5’ 11” I’d look at the 20” wheel version because the frame for this one sits pretty high and getting on and off would be a bummer. I would buy this bike again in a heartbeat. I got my wife and 13 year old son the version with the rear shock and the 20” wheels and am really impressed with them. Super easy to use and the size is perfect for anyone under 6’, plus they are only $850. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I believe this is the latest iteration of the Ridstar H20 Pro. Dual 2000w combine motors is a beast. The handle bars folds unlike the previous model. It comes with a second seat and it came with a saddle bag and phone mount holder. Upgraded motorcycle headlights. Bright color LCD screen. Ride experience was wonderful. I felt in control even at top speed of 30mph. Stopping power of the hydraulic disc brakes are perfect. I never felt like the brakes would fail to stop on a dime. I was able to keep up with traffic and made me feel safer knowing that vehicles won't be zipping by me. The Shimano 7 speed is also nice. Being able to pedal with ease at a park when going slow is a must. Even with the throttle, I was able to gently accelerate. The Ridstar H20 Pro is versatile. It can climb hills with little effort. I highly recommend this ebike. Great quality. We'll worth the investment. ************************Update************************** I have managed to go 60 miles round trip on full electric mode. I was mainly using both single and dual motors(I purchased a 2nd battery in order to achieve this). After around 30 miles I went to my 2nd battery. I feel like If I had been more casual at riding and used just the single motor, I would have achieved further miles. Overall I'm quite happy with the Ridstar H20 Pro. With regular maintenance/pre checks, the Ridstar H20 Pro will last you a long time. ... show more

On month 10 we had the battery and terminals melt. What I thought was covered by a warranty I found out the 1 year warranty is only honored if bought directly from Ridestar's website (not Amazon). We had to replace tires, 2 inner tubes, and now the batter and terminals are gone. Not worth trying to get repaired at this point it would cost more than it would cost to buy a new bike. VERY DISSATISFIED - won't buy another Ridestar again. ... show more
