Construction is solid. The green I purchased was a beautiful color just like the picture. Wheels are heavy dute and should let quite a long time. I am using this as my memory box as I have outgrown my previous boxes. This thing hold my whole life and as such it is heavy AF. HEAVY! Very sturdy with tough leather handles. A bit much for a woman to pick up and carry—even when empty. You definitely need two people to carry up the stairs, for example. The wheels really help with the loading/unloading, but you only have the snug leather straps to pull, so pivoting around corners is awkward. Of course, these aren’t designed to be carry on luggage, and I’ve no doubt that this will last a lifetime and put up with whatever abuse they receive. ... show more

My daughter loved this for her 4 weeks at sleep away camp. Everything stayed bug and dirt free, and moving it out from under the bunk was easy thanks to the the sturdy wheels. Received this on August 1st and did not have the wheels in the box. We just opened the box so we could pack it and no wheels..... We need it for college move in. We will have to contact the manufacturer to see if we can get wheels in time. Just received the wheels via FEDEx and they were extremely quick to respond and make it right. I would definitely buy one of their products again. The trunk itself is every sturdy and well made. It should last for many years to come. ... show more
