So far so good. I did a LOT of research on these carriers for my '16 Subaru Outback. 1. This one fits perfect 2. Pay attention to the people that have these and get the black RTV sealer and use it during assembly. 3. I did all the necessary prep with the RTV and have NOT had any rust issues. And it was in a torrential downpour for 2 days. 4. Yes there is wind noise when it's on top of the Outback. Sounds like a low rumble. It's not terrible but it IS noticeable. 5. Get a cargo net. This works great with an appropriately sized net. 6. It's easy to put on and take off the car. The screws are a little cumbersome with the Allen wrench. I wish there was a wing nut or hand knob that allowed for the tightening and un-tightening of the clamps. Not a deal breaker by any means. 7. This thing sucked putting it together. It was almost impossible to align and the little rubber sleeves that are designed to go over the joint got caught and ripped in the joint when trying to slide the 2 halves together. It's almost like the 2 halves are made separately and not pre-fitted or pre-tested at the factory. They just ship the left and right sections. Again, it sucked getting it together but it's not a deal breaker. Overall I am very pleased with the product. It isn't heavy making it easy to lift up. It looks great. It holds just the right amount. Bought for my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Fits just right and looks great. I didn't read the instructions so I couldn't comment on how informative they are. It's pretty self explanatory on how this goes together. I read a few of the reviews on it and skipped the rubber gaskets and sealed the halves with GE Silicone. The powder coating is nice and textured a little bit, bugs should come right off. The welds are nice and the structure is solid. My roof flexes on my jeep before the rack does. I'm not a huge fan of the mounting, If the made the main outside frame the load bearing support it would be better. The mounting does it's job though and like I said, the roof flexes before the rack. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, The lines look good on it, it's not just a box to put your stuff in. And with this rack being cheaper than a Yakima this is a great alternative. The fairing was broken when I received it, I contacted the manufacturer and they asked for a photo of my order number and the broken fairing. I sent it to them at 3:33 PM, I received an email back at 3:49 stating they were shipping me a new one free of charge. Customer service is second to none which is hard to find these days. I didn't want to buy the "high end" line of racks. Way too much for a rack. So I looked at this middle of the line one. One word: Great! Ok to assemble. Great to put on. Great to take off (let's face it, no rack should be on all the time due to gas usage/waste if left there). On in about 5 minutes. Off in about 2 minutes. Perfect for when we go camping. Used on the OEM cross bars of my 2014 Rogue. Very sturdy. No worries at all. Had it for about two months so far. Used (on then off roof) two times. Perfect in every way each time. Im extremely excited it fits nicely on my 2022 Honda Pilot Trailsport! Let’s get to it. I received from Amazon on the 18th & upon reading reviews, I had no idea what to expect! It didn’t come bent & the instructions (do) tell you to put the weather proof sleeves even though some people do not fully read instructions. Noise…. On the freeway going about 70-80 cruising, the noise is barely existent… it’s actually very quiet! The design is flawless & I really have nothing bad to say about it. For 308 bucks the small is actually nicely sized. Car washes… I go to patriot car wash and the associates working actually turn off the top brushes & nothing is damaged or moved. Very very very nice roof rack/basket. Hope I helped someone make a solid choice! Cheers! ... show more

The cargo basket seems sturdy, coating is nice but thin. The small tray fits great on a hatch car. This was installed on a Rhino Euro rack system and fit well overall. The install instructions were vague and should include more actual written instructions, lol... but a quick video of the install answers all questions. I didn't like the alignment of the threaded hole to the opening, it took some time to adjust/screw in the hex bolts into the rack. And the connection "weather" sleeves were so painful that I just threw them out and RTV'd the rack joints and hex heads. Haven't had it on long so I can't judge the longevity of it yet, but Amazon had a much better price than the main suppliers website did!! ... show more
