I’ve never used this type of collar and was very unsure, thinking the loop would be a danger. 1st: It’s made well and pretty 2nd: It does not come off of either of my 9 month old Schnauzers’ necks like regular collars have. 3rd: YES! The loop can get stuck on something and it did with our super curious girl. So, we never leave them alone to explore on their own, a collar would have done the same in this case. It was perfect for my puppy. I am thinking that now that she is bigger and stronger at 6 months it might be time for a tougher collar. This is just adorable and it is just now seeming too light for my stubborn and very strong border collie.
