I've had the magnetic versions of these reusable water balloons that close automatically by magnetic attraction. Those were pretty nice and work just fine. These are good too. You do have to push them to close them, but they do get a good seal if you close them properly. You should do the water filling in a bucket or pool as it's easier to fill them up and seal them without losing water trying to close it. That's how you were supposed to fill the magnetic ones up too. Make sure you get a good enough seal or it'll spill out before you get to throw them, haha. After using them a bit, you get better at closing them. It comes with a mesh bag that can easily fit all of these and then some! I like it. It's easy to lay them out to dry. Don't put them away wet. I've seen some of my old ones grow mold when brought in and stored wet. Not taking chances with these. This is a nice warm weather water toy. ... show more

I like the glow-in-the-dark capabilities, but I was disappointed that these didn’t have the magnetic closure. I bought these for young children to use, so these will not work for them! I dont feel like being the designated “filler”! Returned them for some with the magnet closure.

Bought these not realizing there are two types of reusable water balloons. So I did not realize (my own fault) that they didn’t have a magnetic closure. My young grandsons can’t use them. Probably fine for older kids.
