This is actually the second set of these notebooks for me. I was relieved they were still available! Every morning since May 1,1999, with a few gaps, I write "Morning Pages," as Julia Cameron directs in her "Artist's Way" program. This is totally stream-of-consciousness brain-dump writing, not meant to be shown to anyone. But even so, I do keep all of them, at the request of my daughter. I've written them in various types of notebooks, and on loose paper as well. Being left-handed makes the process painful if all I can get is a wire-bound notebook. I also prefer college rule. These notebooks are the best I've used in all the years of writing my Pages! I only gave them four stars for durability because it's still a flexible notebook, but they've held up well, even when crammed into a briefcase for travel. And perfect for a left-handed writer to use. Smooth and pure white paper, a pleasure upon which to write. I hope they never stop making them! ... show more

I adore these notebooks. I initially got the green+black set as a test for some of my classes and quickly ordered another for my other classes. The pages are durable and thick so there’s minimal if any bleed-through. Pictured is a diagram drawn with sharpie, bic, and mildliner, none of which bleed through the back. The lines aren’t cramped and there is a good amount of space for different topics in the table of contents. The only “issue” I’ve had is that the elastic snags sometimes (obviously) and the cover is pretty soft so it dents or warps sometimes. I love this notebook. Firstly, it's well made. The pen glides seamlessly across the pages. Second, I like there's a blank space for dates to be entered. There are 2 strings tied, which is helpful if you use the notebook for more than one topic. There is a small folder in the back, but it appears mine tore, so it's just a glorified folder instead of a pocket. I did purchase some pen holders that can affix to the front so I can easily have a pen available. The only thing I would add to make this better is a spot to securely hold a pen, but since Amazon makes it so easy to find things, that seems to have worked. I bought the two pack, one green and one black. It's held up very well, pages stay flat and the paper is good quality. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Easy to use light notebook that lays all the way flat! I love that I can even fold the front around the back if I want. It has a CONTENT page and page numbers to help you stay organized. The double pack is an awesome value for money.

I love this Journal! It had 204 numbered pages and an index in the front. There’s also a place for the date at the top of each page. But more than that, it’s a beautiful Journal. There was a crease on each page near the center spine, deep enough to begin to tear. When I called Dingbats they asked for images of it and sent a new one. The new one also had the crease, but not so deeply scored. They are. Both very useable but I wish it did not have this feature.
