I purchased this a little while back, thinking it would be great to have on hand should I need it and not want to take out my handheld machine and go through the whole process of filling with water, soap, yada yada. Well, just had to finally use it the last few days and wow, wow, wow am I glad that I made this purchase! When putting together, note that the rods are a little tight, so adding a little oil of some Sort will help them glide into place better. When inserting the can into the bottom part, you have to take the blue cap off of the can. I didn’t see that explained everywhere and it took me a little while (with it not working) to figure that out. Once everything is in place, it works like a charm! Pulls all the yuck out of your carpet, almost instantaneously! What I did was I cleaned up the mess with water, papertowels, and spray resolve. Then I used this “machine” over the spots to really get the yuck out of the fibers. The resolve smell is fine, but I went over it with a scented carpet spray just to neutralize the resolve scent. Few hours later, once dry, vacuumed over it and good as new! I have washable rugs because I have pets, so using this made cleaning even more of a breeze than on a non washable rug but suspect it would work just as well! I like this for carpet or large area rugs bigger than 8X10, it’s kinda flimsy but if your carpet or area you are scrubbing is secure then it’s fine. Another thing to remember is to shake the can before use. Works fine but not much better that an hand version other brands make.

OK first, serious question. Why, WHY would someone post a picture of this working on what it is meant to clean? You could argue mud from pets but I will debate this till I am blue in the face. This is for something a little stronger. Yeah, we do NOT need pictures of that. Thank you Amazon. Fury friends have accidents, it is part of having them as our family members. Some times things do not sit right with them. Some times they get in the bathroom and decide to nom down on anything in the trash basket for whatever odd reasons. Some times you are gone longer than you expect. Well, this product has you covered! Absolutely love it. I will say personally I do not use it, the wife does. Those pictures we do not want to see will make my stomach turn. I know, I know. Big baby! Hey it is what it is. After this is used, carpet is back to where it was and usually cleans well enough we do not have to break out the carpet shampoo machine. Not saying always, because some times the job is just way out there. So this work great, gets rid of some seriously awful smells, stains that would be there are gone.
