Okay, so I am 68 year old chubby woman wanting to strengthen up a bit. First time I tried to use one of the stretchy bands, it slipped out from under my foot and snapped me in the forehead. Made me laugh but also stung. I can manage the bands better now but I am careful when using the product.

Great set of resistance bands. Bought them to build up my strength after being in a motorized wheelchair due to a leg amputation for over a year and put back on some muscle mass that I have lost. Being single, wheelchair bound etc it's a bit hard to hit the gym after all and I live in an apartment with my 16 year old daughter so can't really do free weights because the neighbors downstairs might complain about the noise and I don't have room for a weight bench. These fit the bill perfectly. Varying resistance from 10 to 50lbs but can be stacked on top of each other for up to 150lbs. Since I'm getting back into the whole thing, I use 20lbs starting which isn't much but allows more repetitions which seems to be working. The entire set takes up very little space. Handles are comfortable and product seems well built. Highly recommend whether male or female that you give this little set a shot. I know I'm glad I did ... show more
