I admit, I'm a beginner. I don't workout, hate going to the gym and have the hardest time sticking to a workout schedule with work, kids, wife, dog, yard work, housework, etc etc etc. I look for any excuse to not workout. BUT since I'm working from home now and have a desk I figured I would give Resistance Bands a shot. I mean why not? I have some inactive time between reading emails, completing tasks, earning my paycheck so I thought I would put that time to good use. These have been great. Arrived on time and everything was there. The little booklet is handy for a place to start but there are a ton of videos on YouTube with great exercises you can do sitting at your desk, with your office door, on the floor, in front of your desk. They are just super versatile. I'm not going to lie, part of me was put off buying these because they aren't "manly" but I got over that stupid mindset and got them. They put in work. These, in my inexperienced opinion, put in my work than my free weights ever did. PROS: They didn't smell (weird observation but a lot of thinks stink like chemicals) Extremely easy to keep the little bands at my desk to use while reading emails Exercises are easy and there are a ton of resources online Quality seems good Provide more resistance than I thought they would Easy to pick up and use whenever Great for travel Fast shipping and no damaged packaging Jump rope looks decent CONS The extra stuff is meh The blue band feels and looks cheap The towel is a towel, looks mesh almost. These are great for small space workout areas. I can use them anywhere in my home. I don’t have to have tons of room. My kids love using them to workout with me. They are great for physical therapy. I build definitely recommend them. They are so easy to use.

    • Good for lighter workouts
I needed something to fill in my usual gym routine. It took me 3 attempts to find something online that would work for short term exercising, due to pricing, availability and shipping. I grabbed this set when I had the chance even though it wasn't my first choice. When I received the package, it had all the pieces that came with it, and all of it was properly assembled and packaged. There was a small bag that held the small resistance bands that had a broken draw string, but that's minor in my opinion. I don't intend to overexert myself when using this set, so I'm hoping it will last for a while. I normally use free weights and machines for resistance training, so trying to compensate with bands and body weight exercises instead is a bit of a challenge, but coping for the most part. I would recommend this set, but here is a summary of what I found. Pros: 1. A good variety of resistance "weight" that you can stack. 2. Construction of materials looks relatively decent for a light to medium workout. 3. Flexibility in usage, allows for many different positions of resistance. 4. Easy to use overall once you figure out the working pieces. 5. Should cover most uses that you normally would do at a gym, but in lighter fashion. Cons: 1. A bit cumbersome to switch resistance "weight" using clips, have to fumble a lot with them. Facing clips in the same direction when stacking will help when taking them off handles or leg straps. 2. Clips do not fit resistance band nylon ends very well, tend to bind on smaller end of clips. Maybe a better designed clip or different stitching would have helped. 3. Handles are a bit small. I have medium sized hands and they just fit the handles. 4. Weight numbers should be more visible and on both ends of bands; otherwise, you have to memorize the weight-to-color configuration if you don't want to keep looking for the numbers. 5. Workout pamphlet is fair at best when showing different ways to use bands. Could use a lot more positions and ways to show how to use bands to exercise different muscle groups. Other: 1. Resistance band lengths are long for shorter people, so you need to compensate for equal resistance, like moving further away from anchor, spreading legs apart more when standing on them, or wrapping tubes around wrists to take up slack. 2. Leg strap velcro will get caught in carpet floors if you don't turn them out. A minor issue, but can interfere with exercise. ... show more

Had my eye on this kit for a bit and finally ordered 2 so we had double the bands. Great value for everything that is packaged inside the box. Has alot of items with multiple uses. Great addition to your everyday life.

    • Second exercise band purchase from amazon
So this is the second exercise band set I purchased from Amazon. The first one was very cheap quality for the same $20 price point. The bands came flying apart with the handles blacking my eye, the bands would get tears in them. This set is a very good quality compared to others I have tried. You can over stretch them and really give them all you got and they will still work the next day. Very impressed with everything in the set. The handles are a much higher quality than my last set. The door hanger thingy makes this set that much more versatile with the muscles you can work. The leg bands for core activation also are very versatile. Really quite a good set all together for the price very happy with the purchase compared to the last one I got. P.S. I see quite a bit of reviews where it seems like someone was paid to do the review on all kinds of items. I am not one of those people. I could never be so lucky.
