    • A great accessory for your 3D resin printer!
I have multiple 3D printers which include FDM and Resin printers. I have enclosures for my FDM printers and they work great so when I came across the YOOPAI Resin 3D Printer Enclosure with Ventilation, I knew I had to get it, and I am glad I did! The enclosure is made from quality materials and should stand up to normal usage quite well. One of the things I like the most is that is comes with ventilation and filters. The filter is a carbon fiber filter which eliminates a most of the odor produced by 3D resin printers. The size is perfect for my Creality Halot printer and will fit most of the consumer grade resin printers but I suggest you measure yours just to be sure it fits. It has a large window in the front so you can keep an eye on the print and the window is nice and clear. Another great aspect is that it will help maintain a more consistent temperature which aids in better resin flow and printing stability. If you have a resin printer in this fits besides you have and I would definitely recommend this. Resin is already more complicated and messy and having an enclosure like this helps the process be a little less stressful. This is a well-made unit that works very well as long as it fits your particular model. It came very well packaged and I had no issue setting it up and getting it up and running. I am definitely pleased with the quality of this and would recommend this to any owners of resin printers ... show more

This concept has merit and potential for success. While it is a great idea and product, there are some areas that could benefit from refinement and optimization. With some adjustments and improvements, I believe it could achieve its full potential and be a valuable asset. The primary advantage of this design is its ability to regulate the internal temperature of the housing, effectively containing the fumes emitted by the resin. This temperature control directly impacts the printer's performance, independent of the resin's properties, although it does provide additional benefits in that area as well. A ventilation system is employed to circulate air within the unit. Fresh air is introduced at the enclosure's top, while a fan situated at the bottom facilitates air movement. The system is also designed to eliminate fumes. A carbon filter is utilized within the enclosure to effectively remove fumes as they pass through. The enclosure has been meticulously crafted to effectively block out light, while incorporating a conveniently positioned window in the front that allows for easy observation of the interior. This design approach appears to be well-conceived, particularly if the entire resin printer can be securely enclosed within the structure. In this case, I would rate this product 3 stars. The fan only blows air in one direction. It also has a screen with carbon on one side and a metal guard on the other. The plastic on one side of the fan means the screen must be placed on the unguarded side with the carbon facing out. However, the metal guard presses on the carbon, which in turn pushes on the fan blades and prevents them from turning. In order to achieve optimal performance, I propose an alternative installation method that deviates from the provided instructions. By positioning the fan within the enclosure, with the screen and carbon situated between the enclosure and the fan's output, the fan operates effectively while maintaining a flexible setup. This modification ensures efficient operation and addresses the issue of the fan not functioning when following the original guidelines. During the frame assembly process using fiberglass rods, I encountered an issue where the rods caused splinters in my hands. Therefore, I strongly advise wearing gloves while assembling the frame to prevent any discomfort or injury. I have also discovered that it is challenging to remove the printer's top part to access the resin print due to the frame obstructing the top's exit from the enclosure. Consequently, to accomplish this with the printer on a table, a portion of the fiberglass frame is removed, allowing me to lift the cover with both hands and out of the enclosure. Some printers have covers that swivel upwards, while those that do not have the frame simply obstructing the way. There is ample space to accommodate the printer. However, it is crucial to ensure proper ventilation to prevent heat build-up from the printer, which could potentially affect its cooling system and overall performance. ... show more

    • Does the job.
It goes together kind of like a tent or one of those rolling fabric wardrobes. Fits my anycubic just fine and funnels the fumes out the hose. I feel like it may have helped stabilize the temp too as my prints come out a little bit better now.
