Once the item did arrive, it was very well packaged. The glass all arrived very clean, covered in a thin plastic and properly protected. All items were encased with styrofoam around the edges to ensure safety during transport. The package included white gloves for handling the glass without fingerprints. The bottom 4 inches of the enclosure comes all assembled, then you just have to install the upper sides and top. The assembly was quite easy. It's a nice enclosure, quite spacious. It came with the option to have sides that have ventilation but we didn't need that, so we just installed the glass on all sides. It did have little handles that we can stick on the front doors for easy opening, we just have done that yet. Overall we are very satisfied with this enclosure. Our crested gecko shoud be quite happy in his new penthouse! Amazon shipping was awful, it was not UPS, it was actual Amazon shipping. They kept notifying us that the package was on the truck and would arrive by 10pm, then at about 2pm it would say it's 8 stops away, 7, 6, 5, 4 then it said it went back to the warehouse at 5pm. The media could not be loaded. Awesome value for money. It's large and sturdy and the pieces fit well. I accidently installed the doors backwards which is why they're a bit misaligned and one took a bit more to open in the video but that's completely user error and it still works fine with no gaps. The panels are all labeled for which side they go on so if you make sure to check them you shouldn't have any problems. One of the panels accidently got moved out of place and then stuck with expanding foam when I was making the background so the screw couldn't fit in the corner but I just plugged the gap with some foam. Again, complete user error. I like that it's able to lock and also has plenty of holes for wires. It has a hole on the side which fit I think 5 wires and holes on both sides on the top which fit I think 3 or 4. All of they are able to be plugged so you won't need to worry about anything getting out. It is very heavy however so I would recommend having someone help you bring it in and move it. I ended up opening the box and carrying pieces in one by one but had someone help me move it when it was all set up. ... show more

Love the enclosure. It was pretty easy to assemble. It has plenty of options for running wires/hoses through. Love the top mesh, makes it to where your chameleon (or whatever other reptile) can’t really climb onto the top mesh where the heat bulb is. (There is a plastic border around the mesh) It is almost a awesome. However they really dropped the ball with the opening mechanism… it isn’t like other enclosures where it is usually a small lever/button to unlock and open, with the option of putting a lock. This one is a built in crappy lock. It’s unnecessary and makes opening the enclosure more complicated than it should be ... show more

I am thoroughly impressed by this terrarium. I was hesitant to order online due to the amount of glass involved. The last one I bought was from a local reptile store and cost me about $300, & it was a 24Wx18Dx12H, so, much shorter. I noticed my snake looking like she wanted to climb so I decided to look into a taller terrarium. I came across this ReptiZoo terrarium here for $205 and gave it a shot and I’m SO glad I did! The glass is VERY sturdy and came well-packaged. I was also very happy the kit came with cloth grippy gloves! This way I didn’t have to get my finger prints all over the glass during assembly and allowed me to grip the glass well. The instructions were easy to follow, too. Overall, I’m super impressed with the quality considering the price. I very much prefer the locking mechanisms on this terrarium to my previous (which was an ExoTerra). Also can confirm this terrarium is snake-approved! 🥰 My California Kingsnake, Marceline, is having a great time climbing and slithering and tunneling all over her new home! 💖 ... show more

    • It is what it is
I have so many regrets. My first is buying this instead of splurging and preordering an enclosure from Zen Habitats. I ordered this model specifically because I liked the side panel that was mesh and glass. That side DOES NOT stay on. The entire thing basically works like folding a cardboard box into itself to keep it together. Because the mesh is metal, it’s too heavy for the enclosure and pops out. There is no way to make that side work. So I was thankful that they also sent an extra glass side because I just had to use the glass side. This was the most stressful experience. There are gaps at the top and bottom. I have an adult crested gecko so he cannot escape, but I planned on putting some of my isopods in there and that’s just not an option. The gaps are a quarter inch. My crestie likes to stick his tail and toes through the gaps which is so cute, but that means anything else can escape. It also means that the summer is not a fun time. Trying to maintain humidity is a nightmare. So I’m prob going to use aquarium adhesive to adhere some acrylic strips to cover the gaps. I really wanted a similar model from exporters but they were sold out for 6 months and I didn’t want to wait any longer. I wish I had just ordered something else because I absolutely hate this thing. ... show more

I expected this to be difficult to put up but it really wasn’t. I am afraid of snakes and my husband got one for my daughter for Christmas needless to say the tanks at Petco with the mesh on the top was a waste. This tank is awesome and I would highly recommend it to anyone
