I really cannot tell a difference between my apple tips and the regular rounded ones in these. I haven’t used them long enough to see if they last as long (my apple ones lasted almost a year and I use my pencil quite a lot) but so far I’m satisfied. I have been using the pen style (the exposed tip, I don’t know what to call it) and so far I like it. I think it gives a bit more control in just seeing where the tip is but I honestly can’t tell. I got this for my Apple Pencil because I wanted to take notes during college. The tip is extremely fine and it writes really well on the IPAD. The connection is smooth and it is easy to put on. So far I’ve used it for a month or so and it is really nice.

The metal nib does give you greater precision over the original pencil tip. I've been using the metal tip for about a month, and am really satisfied with it. I saw some reviews on the item that recommended a screen protector to protect against scratches, and am really glad I read those reviews. I accidentally dropped my pencil today, and the tip seems to have been damaged in the fall. The metal tip has developed a sharp point and is now leaving small scratches on the screen protector which are visible. The drop is my fault, and as the scratches are on the screen protector only, the damage isn't a big deal. ... show more
