It is nothing special, but the OEM power supply sure wasn't either. If you read up on the Dells this supply goes in you will find MANY people complaining about terrible failed Dell power supplies. This was a cheap and easy fix and it got my cheap computer back up and running in no time.

    • Fairly Easy Install
June 2024 - Purchased to replace the PS for a Dell Optiplex 7010. PC would not boot. Not having a PC power supply tester, I hoped that a new PS would solve my problem. Opening the PC and pulling at the various blue tabs, I was able to get everything out of the way and disconnect the various power cables, etc. Hardest part was removing the large white multi-pin plug from the motherboard. Needed pliers to grip. Just follow the cable routing and use the provided zip ties. Re-install the drives and connectors. Take a photo to help with these. ... show more

I used an older Dell OptiPlex 9010 SFF for a web server, and one day the power button was flashing twice and no power coming through the system. I worried about the RAM, but decided to replace the power supply first. Replacement power supply arrived at 7:00 a.m. the following morning, and the server was up and going 30 minutes later.
