  • Great Product to have and use
Style: Cold&Hot
This is a great product and contraption! Once you get used to a bidet you might not want to ever go back to TPs. You will however need a bit less TP. Installation appears easy at first and may be so for those with some background in plumbing. If not, it will take a bit of courage and finesse to install. My first install ended up with some leakage and could not fix the problem initially. I wanted to call a plumber and that would have cost me about $150 extra for installing both in two bathrooms. I slept over it and thought about it and figured I could get this thing done without the help of a plumber. Only problem was leaks and difficult working space ie location of the pipes for connections. On my second attempt, I got it down to a droplet leak every five minutes or so. I almost said I could live with it. Slept over it and did it again, the following day BUT this time I used Rectorseal T Plus 2 Pipe Thread Sealant from Home Depot and pipe sealant tape (included in order). That did the trick and voila. After that, installing the second bidet was a roughly 30 minute job since the work space and location of pipe joints wasn't that easy to get to and work with. Also having the right tools really helps. The plastic stuff included in the order don't work as well if any. Can anyone install this Bidet? Yes,even without any background in plumbing. Just make sure you read and understand the instructions before you start. Make sure you know exactly where the hot water connection on both ends are located. I had connected the hot to the cold and had to redo it which took some time. Overall I learned a bit of plumbing, saved $150 in plumbing costs and now have an inexpensive bidet that can become addictive to use. Get one and install it. BTW it takes a minute before the hot water reaches the contraption, so if your toilet is far from the hot water heater you may want to run the water in the sink before you go. Alternatively get used to the cold water, and if you can; than you will not need the hot and cold water version. If the hot water heater is near the bathroom you may just need to plug the hot water and leave the cold out. Once you install it, play with it until you learn the best way to enjoy the device. In hot areas of the country, there is no need for the hot water version. Thus for less than 30 bucks you could save tons on toilet paper. Enjoy the bidet! ... show more

  • Absolute game changer!
Style: Cold&Hot
Ok bidets are already pretty great. Nothing like feeling clean. I challenge anyone to change a baby’s diaper and only wipe with toilet paper and then tell me you don’t see the need for a bidet. But this one… Installation was pretty straightforward and quick. Do yourself a favor and grab an expanding wrench and you’ll be good to go. After it was all hooked up I had to test it out. No leaks, everything fits snug. And then I waited as the water warmed up. It was like a chorus of angels was in the distance and getting closer until they were right in my ears! I was experiencing possibly the most beautiful gift from heaven (apart from my wife) that I could ever be given. Tears began to stream down my cheeks because I knew I was not worthy to experience such a glorious thing. The overwhelming warmth enveloped my soul as I was reassured that THIS was money well spent. I know without a doubt that I will forever be tormented by the fear that someday I may have to go number 2 where I am displaced from my beloved throne. I will now go out of my way to plan my body’s schedule and ensure that, when the time comes, I will be home where I can be graced by this moment once again. ... show more

  • Easy installation
Style: Cold&Hot
I was able to install the unit with both hot and cold, there’s options if you choose not to include the hot water provided in the kit. I’m disabled and the functionality and convenience is what convinced me to try a bidet. The water temperature and pressure took a few days of use to dail in my preferences. The unit is set up to help prevent most types of uncleanliness found in a toilet. I picked my own toilet seat and the bidet is small enough to accommodate. It a refresh and clean feel with less waste and effort. ... show more

  • Easy Install and Good value for the money
Style: Cold&Hot
I recently had surgery for which I purchased this item. The install took me about an hour as I was limited in my mobility. The kit included all the necessary parts and fittings to fit my particular plumbing. It was nice to have it all fit without a run to the hardware store. Installation was straight forward and the directions easy to read and follow. Anyone with some skill should be able to accomplish the job. However there are some things that are a discouragement. My toilet is an American Standard round bowl which the mounting tabs are at the very end of their adjustment. The frame mounting was not flat and had to be held flat with tension from the seat bolts. The water inlets are plastic so take care when threading the hoses into the fittings. Using the device is very straightforward and easy to understand. Turning on the hot water in a sink or somewhere close will get the warmth you want sooner rather than later. All in All ...it does it job at a reasonable price and does a good job of it. I would recommend it for the price range it is at. ... show more

  • Needs hot water tap fitting redesign
Style: Cold&Hot
I bought one of these five years ago, never installed it because every time I looked at that stupid T-fitting that supposedly plumbs into a hot water line, and then tried to figure out how to make it work for me, I just gave up because I knew it would be a huge time waster. I'm very experienced in plumbing, and knew it would be a huge pooshow. The expensive electronic bidets that automatically heat the water are simple, because they use standard fittings. Anyway yesterday I finally decided it was going to get installed, went to the hardware store, spent $48 on all the different fittings needed to plumb down to the stupid thread size on the hot water tap fitting (which is NOWHERE mentioned in the manual). Also three people at the hardware store assisted me in trying to figure out a decent cost effective solution for that fitting, and I typically never ask for or need any help. That stupid T-fitting still leaked everywhere until I added two dozen wraps of tape AND gas pipe sealant. If you love difficult yet aggravating plumbing projects, you'll love this one. ... show more
