The media could not be loaded. Got this for my office and I'm so glad I did. It's very easy to install, just follow the instructions that come with it in the box. Make sure you bleed the air out of the 2 charcoal filters before using it for the first time. I personally filled the top tank with water and gave it 24 hours and then emptied it and refilled it for the first use. It takes time to filter that water which is a good sign that it's working.
