Straighten or curl using just one tool. The Remington Pro 1" Multi-styler with twist & Curl technology features unique twisted plates that guide hair to set bouncy curls, beach waves, or straight styles. The new and improved smooth glide design delivers a smooth glide as you style. It's perfect for color treated hair thanks to the heat control sensor, which prevents overheating for less damage and color fading. The ceramic titanium plates heat up fast to create a smooth glide. Find the heat you prefer for your hair type with easy- to-use digital controls and a range of five heat settings from 300 Degree to 450 Degree. Damage to color vs. Standard Remington straightener. IMPORTANT: To prevent accidental temperature changing, the temp control can be locked by twisting the dial all the way to the left and holding for 2 seconds (the lock symbol will appear on the display). When ready to unlock, you must again twist the dial all the way to the left and hold for 2 seconds. (The lock symbol will disappear and the temp control will work normally.) Use 300°F - 340°F (150°C - 170°C) for Thin/fine, damaged or bleached hair; Use 340°F - 410°F (170°C - 210°C) for Normal, healthy hair; Use 410°F - 450°F (210°C - 230°C) for Thick and difficult-to-style hair. For waves: Twist 180° and glide down. For curls: Twist and glide slowly. For straight: Glide without twisting.

I had no problem figuring out how to use this to create lovely bounce. If you do it on small sections of hair, the curl will end up pretty tight. If you do it on shorter sections of hair, the curl will be tight. This didn't take me any longer than using a curling iron - I've seen some say that it did in videos. I have a shoulder-length bob, naurally wavy to curly hair. But it often misbehaves. I thought this might help replace the straightener+ curling iron, a one-step solution. I understand the mechanics of it, but my results have been disappointing every time. I have tried different temps, different size sections of hair, turned in both directions, with & without products. Gone slowly in smooth motion. My"curls" are crap. The photos were taken after I finger combed the sausage-like curls out. A HUGE waste of time & money. Don't buy this . ... show more
