I have assembled a lot of flat pack furniture and it’s always a painful experience to assemble. This unit is easy to assemble and the hardware is very high quality. Soft close European hinges for the doors and nice metal door pulls. There is a metal support for the top so it doesn’t bow under weight. The back pieces slide into a groove as opposed to having to pound in 30 nails like most flat pack stuff is. All the hardware and pieces are clearly labeled. The media could not be loaded. This is a very nice cabinet. I gave it 4 stars because the doors don’t perfectly align, but that’s not a big deal for me. It also has a scratch, but I’m not sure if my friend did that, or if that’s how it came. I would suggest laying something soft down just in case, but the scratch is barely noticeable. I do love it, and plan to put my shoes, and other random things in there. ... show more

I got this to put next to my L shaped desk I work from home at. I wanted somewhere to be able to store my paperwork so I can remove it from my closet in my bedroom and just be better organized. My husband assembled this for me. It was easily put together except for screwing in the doors. He put one of the doors on completely by himself and now, it is messed up a bit. The second door, I was there for so, I was able to hold it evenly while he put the screws into it. I’m hoping he’s able to fix the other door but, I’m scared to death to take it off and redo it in fear of stripping the wood and now being able to get it back on at all. I’ll include some pics so you can see what I’m talking about. I do recommend this item. Just make sure you have 2 people total at least, to help assemble it ... show more

The pre drilled holes for the doors won't allow the hardware to line up, creating a slight gap in the doors...this is easily fixable, but I don't mind it enough to bother. It's a slight manufacturing defect, which is the only reason this isn't 5 stars. It's an easy to assemble piece of furniture, and looks great. It came with an anti tip kit, but I don't see a reason for such a low profile. It's nice that it's included in case you have kids who insist on climbing, but it honestly doesn't need it otherwise. Instructions were easy to follow and made it very nice to put together compared to some other furniture, taking about 45 minutes. We decided to get this for our entry. We love the gold tone handles. It's a simple cabinet but it looks good depending on where you put it and what you have around it. The only issue is that it is built to be against a wall. Looks great , durable free standing cabinet, but the doors don’t stay close completely. Nice finish and shiny gold pulls. Extremely easy to assemble. This is a beautiful addition to my family/game room space! It was fairly easy to assemble, but I needed assistance getting the doors on straight. It looks higher quality than it actually is and the price is great for what you’re getting. My only complaint with this piece is that it gets fingerprint smudges on it fairly easily - not too noticeable though. Definitely a good buy! ... show more
