Pair of (QTY 2) Laser cut acrylic plexiglass plates for adding registration numbers and stickers to your boat, dinghy, inflatable boat, or tender. This is a strong and rigid plate. We offer multiple colors and multiple convenient mounting options. Size is 4" tall x 24" wide x 1/8" thick. ACTUAL NUMBERS AND LETTERS ARE SOLD SEPARATELY. We do offer laser cut acrylic letters and numbers that you can purchase separately to glue onto these plates. Or you can use any 3" vinyl stickers. We can also custom make you a plate like this with the numbers and letters you need already attached. Convenient way to attach state registration numbers to inflatable boats. Unfortunately, the product option I would have bought was not available at the time I needed it. Seller had an unfortunate incident with his machinery that will take some time to sort out. The blank plate I received is a substantial piece of acrylic plexiglass. I decided am going to work with a local vendor to get some acrylic letters and numbers to apply to my board. They claim to have several methods to accomplish this and recommended I come out to their business to discuss the options. I do not know how Laser Works Studios applies the registration numbers to their "complete" plate but it appears the letters/numbers are cut out acrylic and applied with some kind of (marine) adhesive. Since the plate is white I do not think they can engrave from the back side of the plate. I am unclear of the methods these people can resort to. I will soon know more. Unfortunately, it will cause me a couple of trips to the local business before all this gets accomplished. A real let down for the seller and me but what can a person do. I would highly recommend this plate to anyone considering a removable instead of a permanent option to apply their state registration number to their inflatable boat. It seems too much of a hassle for me to go with another product that may or may not hold up to the conditions as well or having to worry whether vinyl letters will fit or not or myself having to personally cut vinyl letters to fit doesn't seem like a good use of my time. It has been my experience that a person does not get very much help either with questions from most of these online sellers of premade vinyl stickers I have spoken to. The size from the holes to the bottom is 3 1/8 inches. The required letter size for these plates is 3 inches. All of the common sticker sizes are 3 inches plus a 1/8 inch buffer for a total of 3 1/4 in height. This means that to use these standard stickers they need to be trimmed first.
