    • Its not 12 inches tall.
Don't buy this if you want the seat to be taller. It's true the potty is 12 inches tall if you measure from floor to top of the tank. The seat is somewhere in the neighbourhood of 7 1/2 inches from floor to top of seat. We had a potty chair in both bathrooms For my grand daughter but my son n his family went on vacation n took potty chair out of our bath with them it got left at the other grand parents house. Later Ma Ma n Pappa tried putting her on our regular stool in our bath but she refused to use it. She was crying said she was scared. So see n as advertised that this potty chair measured 12 inches tall we thought it would be perfect for transition from potty to regular stool. How ever we are keeping it as we need one in our bath as she prefers Papa's bath room. Only going to knock it because of their misconception its not what we expected. ... show more

    • Comfortable and portable training potty
I got this training potty for my daughter last year when she was 18 months old just as an introduction to potty training, however we didn’t start to truly potty train until recently (she’s now 2 1/2) and she’s really taken to using her potty. She really enjoys the “flushing” button. The storage compartment isn’t big enough to fit a standard size pack of wipes but if you have travel sized packs those may fit better. She likes to sit on it when it’s on the little potty and now she’s beginning to venture sitting on the removable seat on top of the big adult potties as well. At 18 months it fit her quite well however like I said she wasn’t truly using it until recently at 2 1/2 and it still fits her comfortably, the seat cushion is comfortable for her bottom as she sometimes takes a while to finish going and the cushion and the pot underneath are easily removable to clean and empty. To use the portable seat on top of the regular toilet (our toilets are “V” shaped) it just sets right on top and it’s convenient to move around the house to other bathrooms, there isn’t anything to keep it attached, so be aware you’ll need to watch to make sure it doesn’t get jostled and move too much while the child is getting on and off but it works just fine for our needs so far. I think this is a good starting potty for training young ones so I recommend it and would purchase again. ... show more

    • Back/Wipe container needs better design
The only thing I don’t like is that the wipe container isn’t adequately held onto the toilet. There is a bolt but the hole is not threaded and there is not a nut to secure it. Toddler knocks the wipe holder off frequently. Other than that, it’s sturdy.

    • Flush sound
The button to make the flush noise is easy to pop out and a choking hazard. So I just took it out and have my son use it with out the button.

    • Seems great except missing a piece
My daughter wanted something that had a little more cushion and seems happiest with this one. The only thing missing from the package was the nut and bolt for the back compartment so I had to use double sided tape instead.
