I was sick of buying fancy colors for her to get ruined in an hour! I’ve bought 5 of these so far for 3 puppies. Two were lost and these collars are low cost so I bought replacements. Lost from the puppies not in shipment. They hold up to puppy roughhousing I just needed to check when they became loose. Still rather have collar slip then pin puppy somewhere. I noticed how reflective they were when my headlights shown on the puppies,otherwise I don’t see them as reflective. I would and probably will buy these again ... show more

I bought 1 small purple, 2 medium (teal and light blue), and 1 large orange to accommodate multiple foster dogs as needed. All of them are excellent quality and measure true. The stitching is heavy-duty. The loop holder is gently serrated, so the nylon won't slip easily and come loose from where it is set. Besides the price and quality, what I really like about these is the high visibility. The colors and the reflective stitching are very bright, making my dogs very easy to spot in the dark from a distance. It gives me more confidence to walk during the day and at night. These have set the new standard for what I expect from a basic no-nonsense dog collar. One caveat: There is a hard edge where the nylon doubles over the metal tag loop (see picture #3 for reference). It's located where the bottom of the collar would naturally fall on a dog, but if does cause problems, you can sand it down gently to fray the edges lightly and make it more comfortable for your pup. The manufacturer should switch the loop around the other way to solve the issue permanently. Not a biggie. ... show more

Love this collar because it’s easy to adjust and stays the length I put it at. My dogs hair grows fast and curly long so it needs adjusting before a necessary grooming. The quick release is large and easy to open but extremely secure. Can’t say anything about reflectivity because the curly hair hides it. The red color doesn’t on the dog’s white coat like others I’ve had, plus it quickly dries hanging it up in a warm place. ... show more

I'm not a fan of the clip on collars. I've been training large dogs as long as I can remember and I never trusted a piece of plastic to stand up to a large, aggressive dog. This one has held up so far.
