The hardwire kit that was offered by Amazon was not the right one for the camera I purchased, the parking mode wasn’t recognizing the kit. After talking with REDTIGER customer service they realized the problem and mailed the correct kit, I applaud their outstanding customer support.     • ** Final Edit** Improved WiFi Transfers
**Final Edit** The customer service has been excellent in helping with the issues I've experienced. I've been provided with a firmware update that should resolve the issue. It seems that once the SD card was full, the dash cam would not overwrite the existing files for some reason. I've applied the firmware update and hopefully the issue should be resolved (I'll have to wait until the 256GB SD card is filled to verify). Although I did experience some issues I would not hesitate to buy another RedTiger camera. Edit: I've noticed on more than one occasion that the camera has stopped recording with no indication that it has stopped recording. The only way you find out is when you try to retrieve a video you need and see that the last recording was weeks ago. I've verified it's powered correctly and have tried different SD cards. This has happened twice so far. I've reached out to customer service and will update the review based on their response. Upgraded from an older model that had the micro USB power. The new improved WiFi transfers are worth the upgrade alone. What used to take 5 minutes now takes about 30 seconds depending on file size. I don't notice a huge improvement in video quality but it seems good enough and maybe a slight improvement in lowlight quality. I've had the camera for less than a day but was really impressed with the video transfer so had to right a review. 5 stars so far, I'll update as needed. ... show more

    • Will NOT recording when it's supposed to
Ordered with the hardwire kit, yet unit only records when it feels like it. Very unreliable. Worked ok for a week then I noticed it wasn't even recording. Spent an hour disconnecting from the fuse box and reinstalled it just to be 100% sure it was installed correctly. It worked for 2 weeks but now it's back to not recording. If you connect it to your phone you can hit record. Then it works then stop recording again. I cannot figure out what to do to get this thing to work right. If it's not going to record when it's supposed to, it's garbage. ... show more

The seller reached out and offered to replace the item next day. Was able to install it and it works as designed. They also included an OBD charger since I asked about using my own USB C cable. They also provided the specs I needed in case I still wanted to use my own cable. This seller and product is highly recommended. The dashcam takes pretty good video but I can't tell if it's an issue with the dashcam or the USB C lighter charger that they provided but the slightest movement will cause the dashcam to restart or lose power. I have a couple of their other products and never had an issue but this one was a dud. ... show more

I initially posted a bad review about the dash cam because the FOV was not what I was expecting. I have had it for a couple months and have to admit the video quality is great and the app is really easy to connect and use. I don't want to be too harsh on the camera itself because of the FOV. Customer service was great and it's hard for me to say anything negative. Buy the camera as I'm sure it will not disappoint when you see the quality! ... show more

I purchased the bundle with F8 dash cam , the F7n hardwire kit and the Red Tiger rear camera. The parking mode will not work , will not allow configuration. Error message : please connect acc hardwire kit.. Now the camera will not turn off when ignition is turned off. This is very annoying and seems to be a waste of time and money.. ... show more
