Easy to install, took me about 1:20 hr. It would have took even less but I broke the Air Flow Sensor getting it out of the old cold air intake pipe. You'll probably break yours too. Its really hard to remove and its very fragile. I ended up soldering back the broken piece but I also bought another one at my local automotive store for $33. Also the little rubber grommet that the give you to install it in the new pipes are really a tight fit and you may break the sensor trying to fit it in. Other then that the new set up seems to give a tad more horse power. I can feel a difference in the excelleration. 1st & 2nd gears you can hear the roar of the engine. I would recommend this one over others because the price is right and you get the same experience with more expensive ones. ... show more

Just installed this on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Sport 3.6. 45 minute install between watching the install video and putting it in. Super easy to put in. Comes with extra hardware so dont get confused with that. Performance wise, if you drive a manual like me, it pulls alot better to get out of 1st and second gear which is nice. Sound acceleration does improve with this addition. Sound wise, the higher rpms you go between shifting gears you definitely hear a louder roar the more the throttle body opens up. Really easy to install. Instructions weren’t the best but it’s a really basic install. Only thing I had trouble with was the bolt that holds the intake pipe to the heat shield. The neck of the filter could have been made from a stronger plastic but I’m sure it’ll hold up. Love that they include a high quality, multi layer coupling for the throttle body. I also capped off the pcv inlet so that oil doesn’t get in from the intake anymore, just letting the pcv hose hang downward, I will be putting a vent filter on it. The intake makes the Jeep sound a lot better without installing an exhaust. Overall great product. ... show more

Great value for the money. No point to buy the k&m brand. Adds a nice low growl with a little added torque for a quicker pickup than the factory box. Looks awesome under the hood. I haven’t noticed any change in fuel economy yet. I also coupled it with the touch country throttle body spacer.

    • Poor quality parts and terrible customer service
The product was simple and straight forward as far as install. However. The rubber housing of the filter is cheap and breaks easily. After installation I drove my truck for a day. I noticed that it sounded much louder than it should. Popped the hood only to find that the filter breaks off at the neck where the O clamp connects to the intake pipe. Don’t bother contacting the seller, they want you to send them back the entire air intake, ya know because you don’t have to get to work or anything in this vehicle. All I asked was that they reimburse me for the other aftermarket filter i had to buy so I could keep driving. That was met with a big ole fat middle finger. I will never purchase anything from them again. I get it, stuff breaks, other manufacturers make some of your components, but at least stand behind your product or find third party contractors that use better products to make yours. ... show more

I love what this intake did to me JKU. The sounds is a little more aggressive and the acceleration is noticeably quicker. The claim that it increases MPG.... I actually went down about 1 MPG after installing this intake. Now that being said, a Wrangler never has had good MPG so you aren't really missing anything. In my opinion, the acceleration you get outweighs the difference in MPG. The instructions leave a little up to you to figure out. Watch a couple how to videos beforehand and you will be okay. The removal and installation took less than an hour by myself. All and all, I'd buy this again without hesitation. ... show more
