Everything was perfect with the awning. Great colors, superb fabric, one day installation. However, I ordered mine about two feet too long - my mistake! Also, I didn’t want to risk unwinding the coil spring, so I modified the end of the spring housing so the awning can be installed from one side. This involves some simple tools - drilling a hole and sanding it smooth. Look on YouTube for good videos on doing it yourself. Enjoy. ... show more

This is the 2nd cover we've purchased like this. My brother owns 2 different travel trailers - a 5th wheel and a pull along. The awning is very durable and look great after it was mounted.     • Roller size matters

I have a transawn 2000 and this canvas does not fit correctly. As someone else mentioned, the roller size does matter. This was designed for an awning with a much larger roller. What I did to make it work. Pull all of the tubing out as it is too thick to go in the channels. Reuse your original tubing. On the roller end, I was only able to use one of the tubes due to alignment with the smaller roller. There is pin hole but other than that, no leaks.
