Recoil audio really is awesome. I have purchased these, and a couple sets of the components. The components are amazing, sound like much more expensive speakers. However, this pair didn't last long at all, but sometimes that happens. Recoil audio saw I wasn't happy, and refunded me without me even asking Guess what? I'm buying more recoil audio products, because they care about their customers, and want us happy. Might just have to do a full recoil audio build now. Great company to purchase from. These speakers sound amazing! Easy to install too! Only problem is sometimes there can be some slight distortion. Also they don’t fit the doors on 2006-2011 Honda civic. I have a 08 si sedan they only fit in the rear corners. I had to trim the extra plastic off of the plastic covers so they fit.

    • Got a used/return pair of speakers but sound great
Immediately noticed the packaging to mine had been previously handled as in I got a return pair of speakers. This was also apparent when I removed the speakers from the box and bags and the terminals were bent in odd ways. I had to bend them to get the connectors on the terminals. After that they do seem to sound very good but the build quality could be better. I only have 50 watts going to each speaker and they produce a great warm bass and good vocals. I'd recommend these if you get a new pair and not used like I did. Didn't bother contacting Amazon or recoil as the speakers work perfectly just check your packaging and rock on! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. If you are a fellow warrior on your quest to Bassland like me, don't hesitate Simon these to destroy those pesky empty mids that like to hide in the darkness. Pro tip. Get some used component speakers with enclosure from the 90s off e.bay. these fit directly on the JVC and Panasonic ones. Those enclosures are the best put all that engineering they did back then to work. ... show more

Speakers are loud and excellent price. But these are not rated what they say they are. I blew 6 already and keep replacing. Only reason i buy is because if the price. I have them in both my vehicles. So i already replaced 6 of the 8 i purchased. Like i said they sound great however you get what you pay for. They cant handle to much power though, and that is with bass turned down on the highpass crossover. Not sure they cant play loud, amplified, at least 20 mins nonstop before cracking sounds start to happen. ... show more
