I had purchased a couple other metal handles only to replace broken plastic ones on a double end reclining leather sofa and thought the replacement handles were not the right part so I purchased these that came with cables. Looks identical to OEM parts and possibly could be. After I installed these I found the handle operation was much easier due to the old cables being stretched. Lesson learned- If you break a handle it's probably due to the extra stress put on them from stretched cables. Just get both cables and handles as one and be done. $10 for two with cables is a no brainer to me! ... show more

Saw this on Youtube and guy said it took 5 minutes. Well I was a little slower but once my granddaughter figured out I was trying to put the latch rotated 90 degrees into the opening (lol), it went smooth and quickly.
