Yes these are amplifiers not aids. However, they work great! Comfortable fit, easy to adjust volume and atmosphere conditions with excellent noise reduction. Just flew cross country and could not be happier with their performance in the airport and on the plane. Save money and start with these. After my mother put on this hearing aid, she felt very positive. These rechargeable hearing aids have worked out excellently. The hearing aids also are so comfortable to be wearing. They barely weigh a thing making them perfect to have in. Since they are rechargeable I don’t need to worry about them being dead in the middle of the day. The battery life is also long lasting making them perfect for my mother.
