So, I have been losing a bit of hearing in one of my ears, not a lot, but I thought it might be time to prepare for it getting worse. I have never worn a hearing aid before, and this was pretty simple to set up - just try out each of the ear buds to see which one fits your ear best. It came fully charged, and with its own charging cord (not a type C, I think it is the older-style, mini-usb maybe, so keep the cord handy), and clear and helpful instructions (good idea to read them all first, before you try it on - getting the proper fit and volume will help avoid those annoying sharp sounds). I have in on .5 i think, the lowest setting, and I could tell that ear was hearing better - so I was really pleased with this. I do wear glasses and hats, so there will be some getting used to, but that's okay. I know I will be ready for the day that the old ear gets too quiet. ... show more

It can be difficult for people hard of hearing but this device gives you a little extra boost when needed. It fits well in my ear and very easy to recharge it also has controls on the unit that allows you to make adjustments when needed. The quality is good it also has the noise cancellation feature which is very helpful. I mainly use it while watching TV at home even though I can wear it out occasionally because it doesn't look too large and bulky in my ear. ... show more

Sometimes things get too complicated. These work very simply. Some volume adjustments. Easy to fit and hold well in ear. Recharging case too with a super long battery life. If you want simple that works, these are for you.

Yeah, this might be the older, clunky style of hearing aid that most people are self concious about, but I don't care. 1-it's not getting lost in my ear canal, 2-it doesn't look like there's an alien insect gnawing it's way into my brain, 3-it's easy to adjust for volume, 4--I CAN HEAR WIT IT!!!!!

These are hearing amplifiers that are designed for people who have minor to moderate hearing impairment. They are very good value comparing to actual hearing aids. You might want to give these a try before getting a prescription hearing aid. I ordered these for my husband who has mild hearing loss. He use them for watching TV only which works perfectly for him.     • Amplifies All Frequencies, With a Hiss
These audio amplifiers are a step up from using EarPods with your iPhone (which provides good amplification, but with an annoying time delay). They do a decent job, but I can't detect any "noise cancellation." In fact, there is a background hiss that sounds somewhat like tiny gears grinding. Because the amplification is reasonable, it might be easier to hear others talk, but maybe not so much in a crowded room or restaurant. These are not "hearing aids" -- the real ones selectively amplify whatever frequencies your ears have trouble detecting, usually the highs which tend to go first as you age. But these help, and they're as good or better than other audio amplification earbuds I've tried. Decent value in that regard. ... show more
