I got these to help with my horrible tinitus as well as mild hearing loss, however there is a not stop static noise that drives me absolutely insane :( please help. They're very comfortable and don't hurt my ears. Even at louder volumes there's very little peaking of the microphone

    • Worked for my 88 year old father
These have been an amazing solution for my 88-year-old father. We have tried many pairs of hearing aids including very expensive ones. My father is 60% deaf in one ear and 40% deaf in the other. Something about this specific kind, I don't know if it's the amplifier or because we made sure to get securely fitting...ithas made these be a godsend. Hearing aids. We've had to have the volume up 3... With these we have them at a 1 and he can hear extremely well and the TV doesn't have to be blaring. I cannot explain enough the criticality of ensuring you have the correct earbud size. This is not information I understood until reading one of the notes on their description of these hearing aids. Then I did a bunch of research. THIS IS CRITICAL TO PREVENT THE SQUEALING/WHISTLING. I had never paid attention to this part of a hearing aid before. I actually looked at the size of my dad's ear hole and he needs extra large earbuds (14 mm) to fit securely within his ear. This truly is made all the difference in the world. Perhaps it would have helped on past hearing aids but we will never know because we're going to continue to invest in this very budget friendly solution. Why would we spend hundreds and thousands of dollars when we can spend less and get fabulous results? It's a little tricky to get the USB pieces into the hearing aid but once figured out... We use a rocking motion after putting one end in first... It works well. We are also very impressed that we only have to charge these once a week. We've only had these since the end of December and it is now only mid-January so don't know how long they're going to last. We're hoping they will have endurance as this brand claims, these are 5-year hearing. We were thinking even if we have to buy these twice a year, they're still cheaper than other solutions and these actually really really work! We are beyond pleased with this purchase and strongly encourage other people to try them. Very important note again. This product is an abysmal failure and belongs on the Fail Army show videos! Seriously my units quit working altogether before one year of use since purchasing these last July 11, 2023. All other potential customers beware and run, run, run fast as you can from buying these units which will dismay you and you'll want to enter them in the tv series Fail Army; as this Amazon customer is very disenchanted with this useless product. ... show more

Had to order another brand after these quit. They worked for 7 month. My husband had a hard time keeping the right one in his ear. The earbud connection didn't seem to be long enough. I have ordered another brand. One that the ear amplifiers sit down in the charger with a cover over them. Wilma These work great. The only problem I know of, is my husband keeps turning them down and forgets to turn them back up. If we are in a crowd, he says he can hear the conversations from the tables around us, so he turns them down. Then when we get home, he forgets to turn them back up, and turns TV on really loud. Then, I have to yell at him to turn them up. LOL ... show more

    • A low priced alternative to expensive hearing aids
Purchased this hearing amplifier after losing my $3000 hearing aid and could not be happier. The sound quality is equal to that of the hearing aid but much better than that of the Clearon that I had before. I could not find the Clearon on Amazon after it stopped taking a charge saw these and decided to try them. The only drawback for me as that the controls are labeled N and O for the on/off and N means on and the volume control moves down to increase the volume but once I got used to that all is good. Must be a Chinese quirk. I gave these a much higher rating when I purchases them in January 2023. In March of 2023 both units malfunctioned and I reported the problem to the company. They sent 2 new ones no questions asked. Move ahead to August 5 2023 and both units will not hold a charge and have stopped working. I informed the seller and he told me they were guaranteed for 6 months. I told him that they were new in March but he said that the original order was places in January and that is the date they go by. He told me to buy a new air because I had given them such a great review and I knew what high quality they were. The second set lasted 4 months and the first set a little over 2 months. Certainly not a ringing endorsement as to the longevity of this product. My original rating as to the sound quality stands but it's a moot point if they cannot be recharged. ... show more

I've only had these one day, but they are much better than my prescription, $6,000.00 hearing aids. I wish I would have known that before I spent a large amount my older aids. They are slightly larger than my script aids, but I wear my hair long and they're hidden. I absolutely love these. (I wear glasses, too.) Updated 09/24/23: I am really ticked off about paying $6,000 for my originals because these are MUCH better! There was NO wasted money here. ... show more
